ABT Sniper Hunt 7.12.09

what: ABT Sniper Hunt
when: sunday, July 12 2009
where: ABT field in LaCenter
why: because its fun to shoot KA-BAR

cost: $5 donation to the field for the entire day.

time: 11:00-5:00 or you just get tired.

AP and ABT saftey rules are in place.

you must sign a ABT waiver, players under the age of 18 must have a parent present to sign.


i will do my very best to have a working chrono on site.




Game play.

Camo will be loosely teamed up for Objective based play, i.e. Escort missions, Scavenger hunts, Ect.

Example: Camo pattern A and B must recon and find a field prop, and move it to a new location. not only will they have to fight each other for control, find, then secure, then recon and find safe passage through enemy terrain. All this and you are in a unknown Snipers AO. that is BIG TROUBLE.

can you survive and work as a team to complete the objectives?

missions will be fast paced, so there will be new medic rules. once you are hit, you go to spawn, there a medic ( admin) will flip a "medic coin" ....you have a 50% to live or die. if you die, the round is over for you, refill mags and water and wait for next round to start.....if you lived, it then becomes single elimination, next hit takes you out of the game no matter what.






this should be fun and a great break from regular skirms and sector control gameplay.

MAG restrictions: there are no mag restrictions other then no box magged non support weapons.

post edit: if you have a working ghillie, and a suitable bolt action ( no AEG snipers sorry) PM me if you have a desire to get some great trigger time.

this is not a BSP production, this is a ABT game, i am just setting up gameplay, and a fun day for everybody.

sweet !!! so i pm'd you on the jokers forum but anyways, my cousin gave me his sniper rifle, maruzen aps2 with bunch of upgrades, i get it next week. When's the next time i can acquire a SA card? I'd like to see if sniping is for me.

Atown, there are two different guys with this handle name. There is KABAR from SA, and there is KA-BAR from AP/BSG. Two VERY different people.

Please also read:

This means that SA rules do not apply because one it is not run by SA, and two it is nowhere near Spokane or the surrounding area. If you still want to come down, I have a place for you at my house. Where the field is 10 minutes away. Also while we are on the subject, technically you don't have to get a SA sniper card. You are a foreign team, and as long as a member can vouch for your credibility and that you can judge distance the SA administrators will allow you to use your bolt action. It's a loophole in their rules, thank Chris for finding that.

And thats a cool loophole, i'll definitely try to get some rep with the sniper rifle around here and hopefully have that opportunity to be vouched for.

We been working hard on the field this week and now we will have a Range for the snipers to shoot and dial in there wepons , it's marked at the 50 foot 75 foot 100 foot 125 foot and for you guys that really think you can shoot the 150 foot mark too. Also we have built a pistol course to shoot in . We have also dug two more fox holes on the Ho-chi Mien trail , and a 30 foot by 3 feet deep trench below the hog shed. The biggest improvement you will see is Check Point Zulu we have two gun turrents and a crap load of sand bags " filled with dirt " Around a much larger hole under the deck and the LCSS over the whole thing . And the ABT bomb is set up there too , like an ICBM . If ya haven't been here for awhile you will not be disapointed . This week is gonna be way more strcuterd then the regular events . So bring your Game your gonna need it , This is not gonna be a spray and pray match . it will test the skills of you, your radio and your gun. Hope to see all of you this weekend . And if any one wants to come up a day befor to dial in we will be here Sat too . Camping is avilable .
