Since this is a milsim game, will there be restrictions on magazines (ex: midcaps/lowcaps only)?

It's not so cut and dry that one team is defending and one team is attacking all day long, however the Corporation team will most likely be on the defense more than the US National Guard since they are already there and dug in.

my bad matt i read a little into it but thought it was directed to some one else... Arg...

Also why have woodland and marpat on opposite teams? During IF it was hard to tell if marpat was woodland from afar.. And i was not the only one having trouble we had to get our sniper to confirm if they were woodland or not.

MARPAT, ACU, and Multicam are patterns currently being used by the military. Seeing as the US Side is the National Guard, naturally they would be wearing ACU or possibly multicam (if they were lucky). If I wanted to be super strict, I would only allow ACU, but considering it doesn't work very well in the Oregon climate I decided to add MARPAT and Multicam to the US forces' options for camo.

That leaves PMCs and hired guns on the corporation side. Naturally any non-digital camo works well for this side and can visually be distinguished from the digital camo.

Sometimes it's hard to tell friend from foe, that's war. If I were being seriously strict on this, I would allow the Corp to wear whatever pattern they want. (including current patterns being used by the US military). Hired soldiers would have the ability and the means to do that.

So, as you can see, this is the simplest way to split the teams up without dressing you all in blue and red and ruining the whole atmosphere.

Matt, you should go realistic and let the PMC side wear what ever they want.
I wouldnt mind going spy and sneaking around the other side.

When are the gates going to be open to camp? Maybe I missed it.

Whats the policy on the following?
~Fire
~Alcohol
~Propane camp stoves
~Noise levels

Also, just in case it comes up, I might need to spraypaint my gun that night. Should I do it somewhere the gravel, the grass, or should I bring a sheet of cardboard to paint on?

Camping Gates Open: Splat Action opens for camping at 3:00pm Saturday.

Fires: TBD, depends on the weather conditions.

Adult Beverages: Not allowed by Splat Action's land owner. Personally - I don't care if adults "of drinking age" want to bring a few drinks as long as they are kept discreet. Please drink responsibly (don't be like me at Steel Talon). For minors, I would advise against indulging, unless you want to be excluded from this event and banned from all future AP events.

Propane Camp Stoves: These are fine to use.

Noise levels: Quiet Time is generally around 11:00pm.

I would suggest you paint over cardboard.

How are the camping arrangements? Is it just like an open field and you put your tent where ever you want to?

Okay, just another stupid question from me: How discreet are we talking? Can I drink a beer or two from the bottle, or do I need to have a different container so its not OBVIOUS I'm drinking a beer?

The camping arrangements are pretty spartan. Slightly grassy dirt patches under canopy. Not an open field, but not a forest. Easy driveway access and parking. We pretty much pitched our tent by the trunk of our Honda for FW.

It should be FAIRLY decent, given that its going to be August. It probably won't rain as much as it should (for it to really be a Grid game), but that's not a bad thing.

Different container. It needs to be hidden from view. Like I said - the owner doesn't want it there, the management doesn't really care as much. The last few games I've been to there, people are getting lax, I don't want to piss off the landowner so I would appreciate everyone's cooperation on this.

Sleepy is dead on about the camping arrangements. Seeing as we have capped the attendance on this game, it should give those folks who are camping more room to spread out. We've used one of the empty grass speedball fields for tents in the past too.

Is there an electrical outlet available to us that night? Would they mind if I brought along my surge protector, so myself and others can plug in our chargers?
