Does the vest count towards the "Look" of the team? Like do we have to have the camo vest. Or does my black vest work as long as I have the camo shirt and pants and such?

I get the feeling that if i want to get ambushed and surprised a lot then i should be on the ranger/marines side but the security forces sound like they will have so tricks up their sleeves for the opposing forces

Fine I am stating what fellow members of the No. 5 are feeling. This is a forum for free expression and I expressed how we feel. Take for what it is. If what have the moderator remove my posts
If you want No. 5 participation in its full numbers, 30, then you might want to select another venue in the future..
This coming from a patron, you know a customer. Also, a herder of customers.

Any idea if there are sniper/DM rules in place yet as per side? (Number restrictions)

Also, I LOVED the first Grid 18 and can't wait to hit this one! It hailed, it rained, it snowed, the sun reared its ugly head, and I went balls deep in a freezing a$$ creek - and suddenly developed a second set of small kidneys.
God that was fun..

Can't wait to go and hopefully have my crew with me.

I didn't mean to make a mess of your game thread. It was my hope that by raising the desire to host games at other fields in this thread (and in other, older SA game threads) the event organizers would see that there is a push to host fewer games there and more at other fields. In my opinion, alternating fields back and forth would have been a better option than playing one field over and over and over, and then switching to a new one.

I also had hoped just a tiny tiny bit that maybe, if a bunch of people said, "please host this game somewhere else", then the event coordinators might say, "oh, hey, we can go host it over here and make a bunch of folks ecstatic". I see that's not gonna happen here. I had a particular affinity for Grid 18, but hey, you can't win them all.

Like they said though, a lot of newer people havnt played at SA, I for one thought it looked really cool. Then again I havn't played there.

But I understand your point Commie, the fields should be used a little more evenly to keep it atleast some what more interesting.

The first Grid 18 was my first AP game. Come out and have a good time.

I'm guessing Tigerstripe falls in with the woodland colors? :(

No, the vest can be whatever color. The uniform requirements are specifically divided by your BDUs.

We hate kids under 15 years old. Just kidding, the real reason is that we want mature individuals in attendance at the game. It's catered for a specific audience. We'll have other games that are open to younger players in the future. If it were up to me, I'd do 18+ at all milsim events but then again there are a lot of 15, 16, and 17 year olds who are squared away.

I'd like to restrict to either 2 or 3 sniper/spotter teams per side, but I haven't decided if we'll specifically ask those who AREN'T on these teams to leave their bolt action at home.

Yes, that's about right. The US Side is all digi patterns + multicam. The Corporation is all of the oldschool patterns + PMC loadouts.
