yes, in fact twice a year. June is D-day and Jan is battle of the Bugle.

On top of that, half of us do blank fire reenacting about 4-6 more times a year.

Jeezus H Christ in a chicken basket.... that was freakin' amazing!

Weekend long full immersion, being lost in the dark with voices yelling in German, dropping prone when flares... lots of them... would light up the whole valley, full auto blank fire, lots of smoke, period vehicles, overworked medics... damn.

I slept for 15 minutes in 30hrs. It was epic.
