I have uploaded some photos of BRS to the gallery. We'll have a video to release soon, after it's edited and approved by MCHA.

After attending most of day 1 and day 2 of this event, I would definitely say that most of you who would be interested in Vietnam era reenactment would have had a blast at this event. As many of you might not have noticed, the price was actually lowered to $100 for this introductory event, but for the original price tag of $350... With a full roster of players (20 slots) I can almost guarantee you guys it would have been worth the price, considering the awesome amount of cool factor they would have been invested into this game with the funds they needed.

Even still - with 4 students at an introductory price; they had pyro, fully constructed fire bases, watch posts, half shelters, GP mediums, tons of blanks and guns, and a whole ton of Vietnam era equipment including radios, gear, helmets, flac vests, etc. Even if you didn't have the gear, chances are they could have issued it to you. They went above and beyond to invest into props to make this event as real as possible - and no doubt went deep into the red to do it, but luckily they'll have all of this great stuff for next year - and more!

Next year - they'll most likely have a helo, and will definitely have a deuce and a half for transport. They had one lined up for this event, but sadly it broke down just a week before the event. Shit happens.

This was definitely not a walk in the park, in fact, not everybody made it through all the way. However - I'm sure the real recon school is 10 times harder, but props to MCHA for making it as difficult as they could. Finishing this event will no doubt give you a huge sense of accomplishment. I would definitely stress that this is NOT for the speedball paintsoft crowd, but if you have a hardon for mil-sim, this would be right up your alley.

Stay tuned for the video and be on the look out for this event to resurface next year, it'll definitely be one to check out.

Thank you Matt for coming out and filming our event. I missed alot running the OPFOR and cannot wait to see the film.

It was ashame that more people were not able to make it out for the school. But the candidates who were present got 4 days with a chief instructor who was a recon Marine. That's a pretty cool opportunity for people who are interested in the USMC and reconnaissance.

I salute the graduates of this school, I know things may have seemed difficult while you were going through it. But the sense of accomplishment (I hope ;) ) now far outweighs the pain involved! You guys did great!

And a special thanks to all of our OPFOR, without you guys, it wouldn't have been possible! Caca Dau GI!

Matt- thanks for coming out and being the AP civilian on this. We're looking forward to seeing your vision on the video. Everyone loved you man. We're truly indebted to you for your services.

For those who were interested, I hope to see you out there next year. For those more interested in attacking an enemy, we're talking about putting together a "Tactical Assault Course" that teaches infantry tactics of moving through an enemy and destroying everything in your path. Quite possibly the students involved with TAC would be alerted by a BRS team in the bush of enemy movement. Those in TAC would be the Rapid Deployment Force. (lots of seeking out the bad guys and time on trigger)
