I had fun killing Kendo. Mwahahaha.

I didn't die once but I was too hesitant and defensive as a lot of players start off as. The hike was a great aesthetic experience but I wish I could have gone at my own pace. Keeping up with a team made up of some veterans with military training and WORK HORSE LEGS was difficult.

Thank you Ivan your place is so kick-ass!!!!!
For those of you who talked to me, thanks for the friendliness. It was good meeting some of you. Was a bit shy and rather suffering from ADHD the whole day. Did a lot of eavesdropping and unnecessary laughing too. :)

Camouflage sure is handy but nothing fits me dammit.

Damn I wish I attended now, especially since this was a one-day Op.

I hear you on the fitting clothes, Scythe & I understand that form-fitting uniforms for different sexes isn't high on the military's priority list. Anybody here a decent tailor/seamstress? I guess I could get some BDU's & bring them to an alteration shop, but that seems a bit excessive.

I have some camo pants that would fit you. Do you want to get in my pants?

Thanks to everyone that came out!

The game didn't go as expected, but being the first op I've ever run, it was a great learning experience for what needs to happen to make a game alot better. Next game, we'll have a backup plan for what part of the field to use if not as many show up. I was hoping the original setup would work, but the field grew in so much in between setup and game day, which made navigating a pain in the a$$, and resulted in the DEA not being able to get to the buy area in time. Next game as well, we'll bring a metric asston of water for everyone. I noticed alot of people we're hurting for it.

Please post any suggestions on what you think should be done to improve our next op. Also, anything you liked about the game/didn't like.

When the pics going online? I don't think I was in any of them, since I only played for like 20 minutes, but I can still oogle them as they are Airsoft related.

And suggestions:

pre-plan and mark all spawn points and roads.

Maybe a pre-mission briefing back at the house with a large overhead picture of the area (you can even guesstimate distances and size and draw the map with a marker on butcher paper)

and make sure everyone knows who is on which team, where the spawn points are (possibly mark those with neon engineer tape or bright colors),

maybe clear some of the brush out in some areas, so there are roads, or a more defined set of areas, instead of one large wooded area (which is difficult for command and control)

Even though it's not a full fledged OP, you can do prepay or more importantly, have people tell you what team they are on and put that on the main first page of the OP so you can sort of see who is coming and let people better plan to go on a set team and bring the correct camouflage, so the teams aren't uneven or stacked.

It was a hot day, and you guys did well with bringing out some water, but possibly keeping water at the spawn points for people. Even a few cheap water jugs that have the dirt-tasting water kept there if people run out of camelbak delicious water.

Possibly have a BBQ afterwards and sell some burgers to everyone at near cost and maybe some icy cold refreshing beverages (depending on age and who is driving).

I had a super duper airsoft play day. I can't wait to play down there again. I've got some bangin' pictures to load up later tonight.

Thanks to everyone who bought ammo you're helping support the field.
I'm gonna go out and buy some cool props for the next game.
