The PDX CAGE GBB Shootout

Postby PDX CAGE » Sun May 31, 2009 5:42 pm

We've just designed a pistol shooting course in our arena! It's similar to a timed IPSC style course, where shooters move through an area from location to location and engage targets as fast as possible. We will display the top ten shooters on our leader board every month, and then have the top shooters from each month compete against each other every six months for prizes.

Rules:
Gas Blowback pistols Only.
Maximum 30 rounds, minimum 2 magazines.
No lights, lasers, or optics. Iron sights only.

Shooters are allowed one walkthrough of the course beforehand where the rules will be explained, and can take two runs. The shooter's best time will be added onto the leaderboard along with their name, team and the type of pistol they used. The top time at the end of the month will be entered into the six month final.

Cost to run the GBB Shootout is $5 with payment of a three-hour block (with either weekday or weekend rates), or $10 as a stand-alone.

The current fastest time is held by CAGE employee Duc Duong at 49 seconds even. CAGE and AONW staff aren't eligible to win the monthly slot though, so come on down and try your hand!

Whoa, coolness! A CQC facility in Portland! I can get to that by bus!

Do you guys rent gear? I'm interested in airsoft but want to try first before I buy gear.

PDX Cage does not rent gear, but Airsoft Outlet Portland, located INSIDE PDX Cage does rent MP5's and M4's, as well as face masks.
Basically you can rent everything you need to play in the arena, except clothing.
...please show up in your own clothing...please.

You could always get a KWA KP8 and buy an aftermarket threaded barrel.
....just sayin.

I haven't had any luck finding an aftermarket barrel.

Out of stock, but here it is. I'll see if I can find one that is in stock somewhere......

And from the G&G Website, which I would think anyone who is a G&G distributer could get it for you:

I ran it today with Beran's 1911, its was pretty sweet, too bad his slide kept locking back when there was still ammo in it. I am coming back with MY 1911!
