Decided to play around with the airbrush today. I think I'm satisfied.

I'll post some decent pictures tomorrow, this one just doesn't do the thing justice.

airbrush makes for some clear lines, but that could be a problem, there are no hard edges in nature.

you need a lil more breakup in it. and get a damned rear flip up site, or ill smash you!

ill post mine next.

Necropost, but I think it's still valid.

My first paint job doing MARPAT. Unfortunately I couldn't find the right brown in "flat" so I got what they had. This took me two days, but I think it turned out fine.

Feedback?

I think the white or light tan is a bit too bright. It looks good though, the pixels are about the right size.

Not a huge fan of painted AK's, but yours looks nice. Good paint job, but I'd hit it with a little steel wool to tone down the shine a little :D

Thanks ! I took your advise with the steel wool. I did the last coat with a clear protectant (but didnt see the fine print saying it was SATIN !
So a few rubs with the fine steel wool took away 90% of the gloss.
Thanks for the tip !

One of my franken M4s (the karma gun). I whipped out a net paintjob on it. It *looks* lighter than it is due to the flash.

My first serious attempt at a paintjob. Any feedback is appreciated. Still not sure I like it. I'll be adding flip scope covers when I get the chance. The first picture is the closest to what it really looks like. The second is with the flash, and the third is just showing it in a tropical environment. I think it'll look better up in Oregon (San Diego now).
