Now for the storyline/game mechanics.
Military Force(Multicam, ACU, and Desert):
Storyline: During a Reconnaissance mission a small squad came under heavy fire. We've lost communication with the squad but have received a distress call from one of the soldiers. We're deploying a larger force to retrieve any POWs get any information about what happened and exfil via Helo. POWs will most likely not have their weapons it would be advisable to bring extra weapon to the so the can defend themselves even if it's just a pistol.
Game Mechanics: You will start in a clearing having just been dropped off by helicopter. you will move to the location where the distress call is coming from and extract any and all friendly soldiers. bring them to extraction point Alpha. If Alpha cannot be reached you can request extraction at extraction point Bravo. When you die you will walk back to the clearing where you started (extraction point Alpha) and wait to be told to respawn. Every 15 minutes everyone at the Military respawn point will respawn. When the POWs have been rescued you will no longer be able to respawn, but everyone at the spawn point at the time will respawn no matter the time. ROE: You may shoot any armed enemies on sight. Unarmed enemies must be taken back to extraction point Alpha and kept secure until the helicopter arrives (every 15min with repawners). If you are taken as a POW you will not be able to fight back as long as a
Freedom Fighter has his hand on you or you are inside their HQ (if you are inside their HQ by your own means you can still act normally.). If he takes his hand off you can run away or do whatever you want.
Freedom Fighter Force(Woodland, OD, and PMC):
Storyline: Enemy military soldiers were spotted entering the forest close to your HQ. After ambushing them we brought the survivors back to be interrogated. Multiple helicopters has just been spotted landing and unloading several soldiers.
Game Mechanics: You will be starting at your HQ with the POWs. When you die you will move back to your respawn point and count 5 minutes then respawn. You will be allowed to move around the field as you wish but cannot move into the Military's spawn point until the POWs have be rescued. When the POWs have been rescued you will no longer be able to respawn, but everyone at the spawn point at the time will respawn no matter the time. ROE: You cannot intentionally shoot the POWs until they have been rescued and they are shooting at you. You may shoot any armed enemies on sight. Unarmed enemies must be taken back to HQ and held as POWs. POWs must be kept in your HQ to count as scoring.
Original POWs (actors): You will follow CQC hit rules ie arm/leg hit render that arm/leg usless. You will not be armed at the beginning but may be given a weapon from rescuing military forces.
Points (cause someones got to win): The game will end 2 hours after the start time.
Military: gets 1 point for each player extracted at the end and a number of points equal to the number of POW actors divided by the number of military players for each actor. If you don't understand this I'll go over it at the game with actual numbers when I know how many players and actors we have
Freedom Fighter: gets the same amount of points that the actor POWs are worth but for every POW (including player POWs).
I will have maps up later this week or early next week. I will also go over all of this in a briefing at the game.
If you have a vehicle with four wheel drive that you would be willing to drive up to the field from the parking area it would help out a lot.
Ammo will be for sale at this event.
$13 for a 4000 round bag of either .20g or .25g
Please bring water and snacks with you if you don't I'm going to make you carry a jug of water to your spawn point. Also I'd suggest bug spray. The bugs aren't as bad at our field as they are other places but bug bites still suck.
