Jump to Destiny: A Clash Of Eagles
A WWII Military Simulation
June 5-7th 2009, 65th Anniversary of D-DAY
Randle, WA

http://www.thewardept.org/events.html

In the early morning hours of June 6th, 1944 thousands of allied paratroopers filled the skies
over Normandy as part of Operation Neptune. This represented the airborne portion of the

paratroopers fought on to victory.

Jump to Destiny is a three day historical military simulation based on the historic Operation
Neptune. It is designed to simulate the preparation and execution of the invasion of
Normandy from both the American and German perspectives.

Jump training is provided by Airborne, Ranger and Special Forces qualified US Military
personnel and a simulated drop kicks off the tactical portion of the event. Training is provided
for both German and American units. American units will be trained in jump procedures,
actions in the aircraft, airborne assault and assembly and authentic platoon tactics. German
Units will focus on german language commands, anti-partisan operations, airborne operations
(For Fallschirmjager Units) and authentic platoon tactics.

This event is combined Blank fire and airsoft. Both reenactors and airsoft players are
encouraged to attend.

Attendees will be fed and billeted in period fashion.

Fallschirmjager Regiment 6 is accepting new recruits!

The Luftwaffe is accepting new recruits for the Fallschirmjagers, and veteran Luftwaffe personnel are also highly encouraged to volunteer for Fallschirmjager duties. New Jump schools are currently being run in France. In the Fallschirmjagers you are guaranteed to see action and be right in the middle of the most heroic and difficult struggles for the Fatherland. Led by the Hero’s of Norway, Eben Emael, Kreta, the Russian campaigns, Afrika, Sicily, Italia, and many others, you will have leadership second to none!

Surround yourself with others, who like you, have gone through the most difficult training, overcome the greatest hardships, and have challenged and mastered their own fears by parachuting through the air. Be with the men dedicated to being the best; the most professional, courageous, and gallantly fighting force on the face of the earth.

Fallschirmjager Regiment 6 is refitting this spring in France. We will be moving to the Normandy area of France mid-may to early June to prepare to conduct counter-airborne operation against the obvious coming Allied invasion.

Be part of this historic struggle, join today!

If you have any interest at all in WW2 airsoft or reenacting sign up now. There are rental kits available. You will be kicking yourself for not coming after you see the photos and hear the after-stories.

JTD partisans 1/2 price

Postby RangerWarren » Thu May 21, 2009 12:47 pm

This years Jump To Destiny is allready three times the size of last years. There has been an enormous turn out by WW2 airsofters and reenactors.

For those of you who wants to go to the event but don't have the resources to put together a german or allied impression there is a third option .

We are taking french partisan registrations at 1/2 the entry fee. This is a great way to attend the event without having to acquire a military impression. Here are som examples of partisans impressions last year.
