OK now I'm gonna try and resolve this . What happens off the field or in real life is not going to effect me or my field in any way . BUT, and I DO MEAN BUT . I or WE at ABT will not stand for or has never stood for any type of HACKING or cheeting in any way . I see and hear alot of crap from everyone a little bit while trying to run the field and thats what I thought this was , But it now sems to be alot bigger then I thought. I have PM'ed all or most of the efected players involved and I will get to the bottom of this .We at ABT have been working hard to creat a safe fun place to play airsoft for all . I know that there are allot of different ways to play , Some like Mil-sim , Some just like to shoot-em up and no more . The latter have spent the most time and support of our field but the Mil-simers are important to us too. Thats why me/we make our field available to rent for any event and then you decide who and what kinda game to play . But we have come to a mile post here and I now think it is time for someone/me to get involved in the conversation . I have PM'ed the effected players here and with the'yr help and understanding we will overcome this . It's not going to do any good to just piss and mone about unrelated matters that happened in the past but this is more than that . I will call a meeting of the ABT team and the effected partys and this will for sure get resolved . I hope that all who read this understand that me keeping out of the bickering was not disconsern or anything like but rather just letting it run it's cores. But it is now time to act and act responsably . I'm in the prosses of fixing this matter and rest assure that ABT is a fun safe place to come play , while I do agree we have a ways to go yet . All of the ABT staff and teams play with pride and honor . Thank you all for supporting our field and our sport . We at the ABT field are striving to make Airsoft a fun safe sport for all ages , and with the help from all we will acheve this goal. And sorry for the grammer I'm typing this fast and my key board sucks .

yes this really does need to get resolved because it may come down to me just quiting the team so i can still play at ABT. i hope it doesnt come down to it since 4-5 players goto the same school, but if it gets worse im just gonna go solo and play.

Yea while we strive hard to make a safe sane place to play some guys just don't get it . But all who read this do not dispair We at ABT are commited to resolve this matter in a fair way . If you are part of VTA and know of this matter feel free to PM me with your concerns . Not all of these guys are bad and I will find out who is and who is not and then we will go forward . as a better commuity . This is or fourth summer playing at ABT and it's the first time that anything this dramatic has happened .Thanks to all for your support .

No offense X but there is a simple solution to this and we have talked about it before...dedicated admins who don't fight in the games.

Running games and a field is a phony pony and it takes alot of my time away from playing(and my family and my team and my work and my sanity) so I understand why you grab a weapon instead of the goofy orange vests, but that is the sacrifice needed to keep control of a field and issues like this. When you are fighting on the field especially on the other team it is almost impossible to find you and have you solve the problems that arise in a timely manner. Besides that one admin for your field would only be enough to use one side of your field at a time. Which limits the type of games played.

A couple of dedicated admins per day at hot spots on the field is what it is going to take for your field to thrive. Now you are in my position---trying to find the happy ground between the expense of QUALITY admins and the ability to pay them.

You will be able to get volunteers for a while but after time they too will run out of desire to watch and not play, which means you will eventually have to pay them-which will mean increasing admission prices-which means you lose a bit of your current player base-which means you will have a bunch of new blood that you have to explain everything to again evey game day, this is a pain and someone from your field will have to shoulder this mindless and redundant task.....

Welcome to my world sir it is impossible to give the community everything they want at a price they will pay so we have to make sacrifices of ourselves and to the game so we can stay in business.

Sometimes the business end of airsoft makes me want to sell my gear and forget it all ever happened...and there are days I would do just that but Titan 1 Tactical and Team Terror have grown into their own entities that alot of good people count on..so I am honor bound to continue and weather the storms as they approach.

Well then all I have to say right now is this: quit your bitchin. Simple as that. Keep it to PM's and save yourself the embarrassment of showing everyone how you act on a public forum. By keeping it to PM's you also have the chance of saving what little reputation you may have left. Even if it isn't you, this is showing your team's true colors because you are representing your team by posting on the forums.

I wasn't at the game last weekend but I can say that I'm glad I didn't have to deal with all this BS and drama that seems to have happened. People need to play fair and be respectful towards fellow airsofters.

It doesn't seem to matter what field you're at, how many admins there are, what the rules maybe, there is ALWAYS going to be someone or a group that just HAS TO phony pony. Every game, event, OP at every field I have been at there is that one person or group that doesn't CALL THEIR HITS, throws their garbage on the ground, doesn't respond properly or makes it misrable for everyone there that JUST WANTS TO HAVE FUN. May be we as a community need to make a list of individuals that are repete offenders and just turn our backs to them. Just like baseball, 3 strikes and you are out. Maybe we need to have a G15 (or what ever it is) meeting like the leaders of the power nations to resolve this and have representatives from all the teams come together and make a few simple rules that will govern how those of lesser honor are delt with. Beats the hell out of me how this can be such a cluster shazaam. If need be as the owner of the ABT field I WILL RUN THE ABT FIELD WITH AN IRON FIST, you screw up just one time and I WILL SEND YOU PACKING, does that sound like more fun, NOT to me! Hope it never comes to that.

Yea I'm thinking that the team needs to come together and help out more . We have been very lucky not to have had much trouble as of yet but like everything in life we grow . Hopefully we can grow together from this and not tear everyone down .I have been PMing most of the guys involved and I'm getting very posative resaults . Be asured that drastic mesures are under way . I think that we all need to try and be honor bound on this and make sure that we don't blow this too far out of perportion . I belive that 99% of all complaints can be resolved by talking . Shit man remember when I ran into the hog shed and that guy jumped up and said "TAKE THE HILL" and I lit his a$$ up thinking that was a stupid thing to say , Only to relize that ,thats not what he said . He said SAFETY KILL . . OH SHIT and I lit him up . Talk about a dumdass , I felt so stupid . My point is we all make mistakes some are more stupid then others . BUT FOR THE LOVE AND SAKE OF OUR SPORT WE ALL NEED TO COME TOGETHER . THAT DON'T MEAN THAT WE LET HACKERS GO UNCHECKED BUT WE LIKE SCROUNGE SAID WORK TOGETHER AND IDENTIFY THESE GUYS AND WEED THEM OUT . Consider this a test and are we passing this or are we failing ? I want to get this resolved right and fair so I'm gonna do somthing drastic but I want this to be fair for all but mostly for the sport. My decision is forth comming . First of all let me say this X is a great guy to know on and off the field--he is a good player, a good man and a good friend. Bill(Scrounge) is one of the most honorable men I have met, this takes sacrifice and he does what is needed and what is right even when it is hard to do so. Now that the love fest is over...


Just try to put a few admins (experienced, knowledgable type admins not just someone who stands there and watches with his thumb up his a$$ like a majority of admins I have seen recently) on your field, run your regular games and see how it works. Try it for a couple of weekends, hammer out the rough spots and see the results. After a few weeks the "regular" players will understand what is required of them and also how they were wrong before and the issues will decrease exponentially(sp?), then you can go back to running free and loose.

Unfortunately no airsoft field can go without control or it will spiral into situations like this. Which, ultimately, this issue isnt a big deal and not specific to the ABT field. We have to deal with it and I believe we maintain the highest admin to player ratio ever. The difference is that there are staff who know how to handle issues like these all over the field and we are all comm'd up for fast reaction. I have been around this community for a while and seen how it works, just trust my experience, if it doesn't work you can blame me and I will go my merry way.

*Also when people know they are being filmed it tends to raise the honor level.
