This was added to the main thread, people have been asking about the raffle details, times, etc. Here it is:

POST-GAME AWARDS / RAFFLE

The raffle will be held on Sunday May 17th 4:30pm, at CAGE. All of the CQC7 prizes will be raffled off at this time, and the winners of the competition will be announced. Please come back down to CAGE for this if you can, don't miss it. We won't be having an awards banquet at a separate location like last time, instead, starting at 6:30pm (or sooner for CQC7 attendees) CAGE will be offering FREE PLAY all night after CQC7 to celebrate their grand opening. Come on down and get some trigger time in, EVERYONE is welcome. AONW will also be drawing for their "Toes to Nose" raffle at this time, and celebrating the grand opening of their second location inside CAGE. We'll be screening CQC7 footage on large projectors in the lounge for your entertainment. Hope to see you all there!

Will there be any option for individual teams to purchase DVDs of their individual scenarios? Though it may be a little time consuming to compile, it might prove as a good post-event fundraiser (since the gross footage will be inspected and edited for the compilation videos, anyways), and it would serve as good self-evaluation for the teams. Good utilization of the video crews, too!

Obviously, allow only that particular team the option to purchase their own footage. The teams themselves can communicate and see whether or not they want to share ideas and videos at a later date.

I'm sure we can do that. We'll be releasing a master DVD with all teams on it, with edited footage but I imagine we could do a version for each individual team without any cuts so you can see your entire scenario runs from start to finish.

Perfectly good question.

In the handbook: All participants MUST wear complete facial protection in the form of sealed goggles.

This means a sealed goggle that presses against your face, the Oakleys you mention are like shooting glasses, with gaps along the side where a BB could sneak in from a weird angle. Sounds impossible, but in CQC it's always hard to tell what's going to happen, and at those ranges you can never be too careful.

Aside from that - it's a requirement from the insurance carrier.

Now the key point is sealed. I know I also got issued these Wiley X goggles, which are sealed. Did you get any of these?

I have a pair of nerve that I got issued I will bring and wear those, just asking for the sake of asking cause my M frames are so much more comfortable under my MICH. Thank you for the answer.

ESS NVGs have a small whole in the seal around the nose, that's how Duke got shot like that. It's there as a vent.
