Once I find my combats, I'll show you why the laces loop around like that in a lot of pictures.

Also, easy way to deal with long laces:

1. tie a knot in the end of the lace
2. when you tie your boots, pull the loop until the loose end is snug (the knot will prevent it from going too far) against the knot.
3. tuck the laces inside the top of the opening.

Last time I checked, the USMC doesn't use Multicam.

Well man, it's all nice, and good looking. But I do recommend an LWH, or at least the chinstrap and pads. There are still little tid-bits left till it's perfect.
