Nov 1967 - near Dak To, Vietnam, South Vietnam

While on a search and destroy mission during "Operation MacArthur" in Kontum Province Republic of South Vietnam the 2nd Battalion 503rd Airborne Infantry, 173rd Airborne Brigade while climbing along the ridges leading to Hill 875 came under intense enemy fire. As Company A and D spread out to form a line they came under recoilless rifle fire and rifle fired grenades. The NVA infantry then wave attacked the companies and the fighting became hand to hand at times. But never the less they fought off the NVA assaults and even advanced up the slope toward the main NVA perimeter near the summit. They managed to do this despite being hit by a 500 pound bomb from a US Air Force fighter at approximately 2000 hrs on the 19th.

Are you up for the challenge? This simulation will test your wits and your combat skills as you will have to interact with local forces to complete your objectives. This two day simulation provides shelter, food and entertainment!

THIS IS A NON-STOP 24 hour operation from 1200 SAT to 1200 SUN. That means you can and WILL BE attacked at any time. The firebase will be under pressure the entire time. There will be a "safe" village where eye pro can come off if you need to get away from the combat or if you need to fix or repair items. UNIFORM REQ This is a line doggie event. OD uniforms only. No ERDL/TS.

Rental kits are available for those without vietnam gear for $25 for the weekend.

This event will test your resolve and put your combat skills to the test. You will be transported to 1967 Vietnam. A movie like experience where you become the leading actor in your own action film. Pick your persona, are you the hooah kid with a belly full of fire, the "smart" one who wants to serve his country or maybe you are the grizzled old timer who has been to a rodeo or two?

Starting at 1200 noon on Saturday no longer will you be in Vaughn, WA but you will experience the sights and sounds of the 173rd's battle up Hill 875. You will be committed to 24 hours of active experience where there are no breaks and you keep your eyepro on 24/7! You'll find a safe village where you can rest and remove your eyepro or catch a couple of winks if you need them but your base, the field and everything around you will be alive and ready to strike you at any time!

You will learn or re-freshen combat patrolling, point recon, ambushing and full out assault. You will be required to protect your base and any territory you take. The NVA and VC will strike back at you day and night.

We strive to create a hyper-realistic environment where the sights and sounds put you in the moment of 1967 Vietnam. So we require that you have the appropriate uniform and gear for the time. If you don't have it, we can rent you a kit and a correct weapon for the event. Believe me making sure everyone is looking sharp really makes the event special. There is a magic that happens when we use the uniform to unite.

The event is about the bonds that happen during combat. Battlesim is about creating the experience that brings out both the best and the worst in man: combat. The is a certain feeling that happens when people are brought together to perform a mission under chaotic and extreme situations. We want to let people feel that bonding without having anyone in harms way. It is about entertainment and education.

If you want to learn something about Vietnam from a perspective you can't get from a book this is the event to go to. If you are looking to test your limits of operating in a live environment for 24 hours straight, this is the event for you. If you are looking to learn and use real tactics against and enemy who is using the real tactics that the NVA and VC used against US forces in Vietnam, this is for you. If you are looking for the most exciting experience in Airsoft, this is the event for you.
