GENERAL INFO
The CQC Competition is an indoor tac-sim event for teams of 6 to 12 assaulters. Each team will play 3 different scenarios, each lasting about an hour from briefing to exfil. You'll be on location for a 3 hour block. CQC7 will be the first event of this type to be organized as a joint task-force operation. 3 SWAT teams are working together on a single objective. We will shuffle the teams after each round so you'll play the scenario from all 3 perspectives under the same scene commander. Teams who compete in CQC competitions aren't told anything about the scenarios until the day of the event, so come prepared for anything. However, we do inform the teams on the type of tactics we'll be using, each of these scenarios will be domestic Law Enforcement based.

The event takes place in a 65,000 square foot building in North Portland with multiple options for dynamic entry, exterior entry, and a number of unique challenges inside.

The teams in CQC7 will not be required to furnish a DM team, negotiators, undercover officers, or other such roles. This is a competition for tactical entry teams only, all of the members of your team should be part of the entry stack and expect to fill the roll of a tactical entry assaulter.

Who does this facility belong to? Meaning - is it associated in any way, shape, or form, to PTOC?

Since this is indoor, is there any way to come and watch but not play? Is there anywhere where you can see the action from? I ask because I'm on no team and dunno if I can get $50. (or $40).

Finally, a few of us get to participate in a competition again!

BSG has already been training in anticipation of this event. It'll be nice to strap on the gear and see if we have what it takes to be successful in a CQC setting. Outstanding.

If I were you I would be more worried about finding a team to stack up with.

You might as well have missed out on the first one, for as useful as you were.
