Legal to fire in friends backyard?

Postby Lord_Hawk » Tue Feb 17, 2009 10:43 pm

I have read the stickies and all, but still have a problem...
My dad doesn't know if it's legal to have an airsoft war in my friends backyard...he wants proof so...could you provide a link if possible?

You'd have to check your city ordinances.

Here is a better idea....check out the Events forum and just show up to a game (somewhere the hosts actually have permission and have already checked out the legal aspect of playing).

If you're going to go to war against a major enemy, go; knock the hell out of him fast, and go in there to kill him and get it over with.

Come to Steel Talon on 15 Mar 09 and have a great time. You and your friends will not have to worry about if it is ok to shoot airsoft.

i shoot my pistol, in my backyard. my backyard is fully enclosed, and is out of the public view.

i am an adult.

under adult supervison, on your own property, out of the public view i would say have fun shooting your airsoft gun with your dad at a target in your backyard.

running around your neiborhood is a huge no no and will get your airsoft replica confiscated or quite possibly get you shot.

that is my .02....your milage may vary.
I am not half as good as I want to be, but I am twice as good as you think I am.

No one here that I know of can give you legal advice.

Your best and only bet is to contact your local police department and have them answer your questions.

I'm in agreement here. Talk to the PD or read through all those laws. Every town, city, county, state can have their own laws about Airsoft replicas.

If you can get to Hillsboro, S4 has an indoor arena open on the weekends for $15 a day, all day.
