when: Sunday, April 5th 2009
why: april fools day
where: Scappoose Field
start:10ish

all ammo types allowed, bio or non bio.

hey everyone, KA-BAR here.

this year i would like to start the AP annual April fools day skirmish. this will be held on the 5th since it is the closest weekend to the first.

This is going to be a classic downed pilot event. a plane full of civillians dressed in halloween costumes has gone down in the pacific northwest. the survivors have banded together into loosely arranged millitias and have set out to hunt the stupid son of a phony pony who crashlanded them into space mountain on aprilfool's day. the only way off the mountain is to find the pilot and kill his a$$, then....kill each other.
there will be bloodsucking aliens and creatures of the night out hunting the players (i need player admins...PM me people, i have special roles....he he he.)

beware of the DAY GLO SNIPER.

arm band system will be in effect.

red vs. blue.

arm bands will be provided.

come in costume, there will be a costume contest.

ideas for costumes are...

rescue workers
aliens
monsters
dumb grabasstic costume
flight attendant ( ladies?)
movie characters
i dont care....

deep in the fire fights there will be a roped off area for the COMBAT DODGEBALL GAME. you will have to fight your way to the arena, but once there you will engauge the enemy with a schoolyard ball to the face.

standard dodgeball rules with a slight twist.....more details to come.

just like the name says, this year will be springer wars....so dust off your spinger pistols and shotguns, bolt actions and other springers. there will be no AEG's allowed on the field for this game. if you dont own a spring powered gun, then beg borrow or steal one!

S-4 tactical has a bunch of new tri shot shotguns in stock!

also

Rick from AirsoftAmmoSupply.com has generously donated a shotgun to be given away to one lucky winner at the event. He also has set up some special pricing for anyone wanting to purchase a shotgun, shells and/or ammo at this event. It is a pre-pay/pre-order offer. Which means you can pay anytime between now and March 23rd, 2009 and pick up your purchased items at the event. Since there is no large quantity of inventory he has to carry for this, he is passing some savings onto you.

Rick will of course has a few shotguns and shells and lots of ammo to purchase the day of the event however quantities will be limited with the exception of the ammo. He has cases of the stuff.

Hit him up at airsoftammosupply.com and click on the event specials tab for your pricing for the event.

I'll show.

I was on the fence about getting a shotgun, and I just went and got one today.

I got it from S-4 Tactical, and I was duly impressed with their customer service. I'm going to them for whatever I possibly can after how they treated me today.

Oh my god, this sounds like so much f*cking fun! I WILL be there, armed with my clear pistol and some .12's. Plus a shotgun =] I can't wait!!! This is an amazing idea and we should do it much more often.

I have a couple questions...

Is this a bio ammo only event or can we use the normal stuff?

I also need the directions to the field as well so if someone could just post an address or link in this thread, that would be awesome.

Is there any limit to how many guns we can carry or are we stuck with two? I think it would be cool to be able to carry as many as we want, I mean they're just springers and you only get one shot at a time no matter what gun you use. Except for the shotguns but it's pretty much the same thing. For example carrying a rifle, a shotgun, and a pistol. That sort of thing.

I'M SO EXCITED!!!

This is gonna be fun. :D I haven't had a springer war since I was like 14, and that was only with like four people and we played in a small forest that couldn't have been any bigger than a football field. Plus we were only armed with crappy little pistols with one mag each. At least now there's some variety!!!

like all the fun, how many gas pistols you know of that can fire full-auto?

and full auto vs. Springer = full win, or fail, if you happen to have a springer

I think we shouldn't be able to use gas pistols...I mean come on! It's a springer war!! If you don't have a springer, then go to Big 5 and buy one!! They're only cost anywhere from 20-40 bucks, which is NOTHING if you're a regular player. I really don't think gas pistols should be allowed... :(
