I thought that would be the case. I just didn't think you'd appreciate some jean and hoodie people ruining milsim for the rest of you while we try and figure what the heck's goin on :)

Representation of newbs sounds like us. Does anyone at these bring extra weapons, or do I actually have to buy my own? I have little money, and, like I said, I like to try it before I sink money into it.

Thanks,
Antigan15

A very sizable amount of airsoft players have several field guns. It is possible that you can borrow one for the day, but be sure to confirm any such deal beforehand. It might be frowned upon to walk onto the field and start asking for a loaner. I might be able to let you use my M16 if it's not sold before the skirm.

I suspected as much. I just didn't want to ask straight out until I figured if it was ok or not. So, anyone out there have two spare weapons for me and a friend? If someone can secure us each a gun for the day, we can supply the BB's, provided you tell us what brand and size to get. We'd be going to G.I. Joe for them, if that matters at all. Oh, and goggles. Or, if no one carries spares, where can I get some?

Also, it is ok if we wear normal clothes, right? My friend has a camo shirt, and that's about all we have.

Thanks,

I'll have extra eye pro as usual in case anyone forgets or doesn't have any.
But you should get eye pro since it's cheap and easy to come by.

Eye Pro is short for Eye Protection.
chucklls wrote:ok this is just me. and just an ideah.

i think we should all just split up into little teams and have a free for all.

like squads of 3-5 something like that........

so then everyone gets alot of trigger time in.and so you can be with your but buddies

I don't know what the event organizer is planning but I'm guessing it's going to turn out that way.

AH I quoted you on it!!!

If I end up making it I can bring an extra gun with mags if someone is so inclined to need it. BUT if you break it you buy it.

I'm confused. Does anyone out there have two spare guns? I know you do! I know enough about airsofters to realize you all have multiple weapons you've picked up along the way.

We can get eye pro and BB's if you tell me proper size & weight, brand, all that. We just need a spare gun each. Preferably a rifle, though I don't think anyone would or should trust me with a SAW.

And yes, it's definitely Squad Automatic Weapon. The Army isn't known for creativity.
