Bullshit, Fred aint broke. He just wants your pity. The mofo buys the EXPENSIVE memory cards, even though the cheap ones do exactly the same thing, and then he gives me shit for having the cheap ones.

If you use a low end broke tool, DSLR camera like yours, it doesn't matter. But since I use a badass DSLR that is simply a different league than yours, shitty cards are too damn slow!

That is why from now on there is going to be a go no go grade for trigger control and target ID.

Shot a camera man or judge and you get docked.

In a RW senerio you need to understand that you attach your whole life to the projectile EVERYTIME you pull the trigger.

Viktor was Watching the Sunday senerios saying he had not seen so many cold blooded Murderers in one place in his life.

Bigfoot and I were standing in a window during one senerio, he was in a full orange vest and I was wearing a orange sash, Oh yeah and he had a camera in his hand and we got a volly shot at us, There were no other combatants even close to us. The operator saw us out of the corner of his eye, Snapped up and dropped some hate on us, how he managed to miss us standing together in that window I have no idea.

Positive target ID is important, but several of the media people were not dressed in "I'm not a target" gear. At least two of the photogs during the first event were wearing full BDUs, without orange vests. When five guys are assaulting your vehicle, and there is a cameraman who isn't wearing orange in the fray, it's pretty reasonable that he might get shot.

Our convoy was assaulted by a guy with an RPG. Suddenly a bunch of dudes come out of the woods and/or a a van, one of them carrying something over his shoulder. To me, that makes him a positive target, especially since:

a) I know the locations of all of my team members
b) There are no other friendlies in the area
c) Civilians generally don't wander around in the Irish countryside in the middle of a small arms assault less than five feet from the assaulters
d) Shoulder-fired weapons are in play
e) The media person is wearing *nothing* to distinguish them from our opposition

That said, I didn't, to my knowledge, engage any media personnel, but I know it did happen from time to time. I respect that they want to be in the action, getting good footage or photos, but if you don't look like a camera man, don't expect to get treated like one.

Who was the actor that the convoy had to "spot" during some point in their travel?

Seriously, mad props to whoever that was.

Is there an actual points spread sheet we can see for our teams?

If there is one posted up already just point me in the direction I need to look. I missed out on the awards ceremony due to having to be back in Tacoma by 4pm.

Thanks,

Christian

Hmm.... as far as future ops... perhaps a go/no-go for any civilian shot....I can tell you from experiance, COB's don't wear orange vests in real world firefights...and they do get in the way.

I am also curious to see the overall video, for the whole event.

But...who wouldn't want to see a flashbang go off, and then a person vault over the window?

Good thing I had the helmet cam that mission....:D
