Marksman rifle, based on a G&P body. M5 RAS and on the way to convert it into a SPR (as soon as I get the box back in working order).

What is the thing on the magwell?

I'm assuming it's suppose to aid in changing mags somehow.

instead of needing to be accurate while putting the magazine in the gun, that allows you to just slam the mag home in the general vicinity of the mag well. The underside is shaped like a square funnel. It's the fix for people who don't have muscle memory of how far the mag well is away from their trigger hand.

I need to join a spellingbee contest or summin. Theyre actually called Arredondo, not Arrendo, to start with. Even if Im draggin' this way off topic, they sort of work like a funnel. Really useful when in the middle of a firefight, lets you reload without dropping the target with your eyes.

THAT (emphasis), looks really nice. I may do the same for my MK23, but not likely tan, more of a brown or green, maybe khaki. One of these days I will get around to getting all my guns together and take pics to put on here.

THANKS Carpet!

Not a bad Idea however once the enemy gets that close it seems that a desert camo pistol would be moot though. Just personal opinion of course

Good point, but it's not for the camo color, as much as for the look of the thing, Since MY MK23 can outrange most stock AEG's and shoots around 350fps, It is my primary.

As for the Arredondo, Braddock has the same thing on his gun, he says it's so he can play while drunk/hung over... (he also uses it as a forward grip /handle)

Kinda reminds me of the old camouflage that was supposed to make people invisible to NVG's back in the mid 90's but made them stick out more.

+1

Also, hit it with some matte clear coat or scuff it up with some 0000 steel wool to reduce that shine some, and you'll have a sick looking can shooter.
