Do I need to get some Bio ammo for this? Or will regular be fine?

Regular is fine.

Nick055 wrote:I've never been to this field. How big or small is it?

The outdoor (for lack of a better word) area is a forest that's I believe 80 acres. We'll only be using a small portion of this.
The CQC area is pretty small though which is what makes it CQC. That and the buildings.

EDIT: Also weather is getting better and the snow is melting fairly quickly. I'll keep you updated on the conditions here.

Both.
We play in two different areas during the day.
First the forest which is the 400/550 FPS limit.
Then the CQC area which is 330 FPS limit.

FPS limit...

Postby Chill Phil » Sun Dec 28, 2008 10:17 pm

I just bought an Aftermath Broxa and it says it shoots 400fps on the box. Will I still be able to play if it's a few over? I'm worried that it may shoot a little faster than what the box claims. If anyone knows how fast this gun shoots out of the box, let me know! If it does shoot a few over, I'm REALLY hoping I'd still be able to play due to the fact that Silverton is about an hour away from where I live and I don't want to drive all the way down there to not be able to play. Lemme know!

Its not my skrim but I'm sure a few over would pass and I think some guns don't shoot as hard full auto. I'm a noob so this probably has no credit :D! Also I'm attending this event and may possibly have an extra gun. If my other one is here by then. I'm a kind enough person if you're gun shoots to hot that I could let you use it. It's just a game right? More the merrier!

FPS limits are taken seriously, but don't let the possibility of your AEG being hot deter you from coming out to this game. It'll probably pass chrono, but the worst case scenario is that someone will rent/loan you something instead.

If you're worried about it being to high you should compress the spring overnight to drop it down a bit.
However you will have to borrow something for the CQC part of the day.

Awesome guys, I'm gonna do my best to show up. I don't know if I'll be able to make it for sure yet but I should. I still need to pick up some gear and I also have a few things I ordered in the mail that need to come before I'm even close to ready for a skirm. If all goes as planned then I shall hope to be there! I would definitely appreciate someone loaning their gun to me IF I need one. I just hope mine passes the chrono...I may even get a new spring installed so my gun would be fine for CQC encounters as well as outdoor games.

IF I go, I can probably give you a ride lildood. Just gotta gimme a few bucks for gas. PM me a landmark near where you're at and I'll see what I can do. This will be my first skirm so I wouldn't mind a little company seeing as I have no friends who are into airsofting the way I am yet.
