Central Oregon Try-Outs for New Team

Postby Sleepy » Tue Dec 13, 2005 2:14 pm

There will be a skirmish on Wednesday December 21st @ 1400hrs (2:00PM). There is a group of potentials that are interesting in joining up. Meeting will originate at Mayerniks house (contact for info). Please come in your most professional looking combat gear, make sure your guns are fully charged and loaded, and bring ammo and eye protection. Feel free to bring drinks and food, but keep in mind that this will be upwards of twelve people. Also bring water bottles.

@~1400 hrs, there will be a briefing and introduction. when that is completed, we will move to the construction site, and begin simulations.

First scenario will be King Of The Hill. Teams will swap, both positions and players, to get a good feel for the potentials. Next scenario will be an all-out deathmatch. McInturff and Mayernik will observe one round, then advise players on specific strengths and weaknesses. McInturff and Mayernik will assist in second and third rounds. Final round will be team deathmatches. McInturff and Mayernik will be on opposite sides, guiding both teams.

There will be spontaneous rounds of tactical training, so be prepared, and be patient.

If someone could get their hands on a large spread of FRS radios, that would be joyous and wonderful. Its mid winter now, and its going to be cold, but dress in layers to adapt to changing conditons. Game will not be called on account of rain, either.

Please do not bring alcohol, drugs, knives, explosives, or anything potentially dangerous. If you must smoke, it will be cigarettes only, and please take it outside, and only with Mayerniks permission. His parents and himself are non-smokers, and would like the house to stay that way.

Mistal will be training for the spotter/support position. Fagnani stands within striking distance of a promotion to Corporal. Recruits and cuts will be announced at the match, and posted on this website, on the Regulators page.

This skirmish is expected to last several hours, so please eat before you come, and bring munchies. Mayernik expects to be on the field by 1600, no later, preferably earlier.

For APers: If you are interested in joining a team, please contact me with any questions you might have.

If you go to Redmond HS, please locate Tim Tewalt for more info.

We do have permission, granted its only word-of-mouth, to use the area, and local police are clear, but we do have specific rules for situations if the police become involved.

Hate to say this, but the event has been rescheduled. Our team needs to acquire some guns, and this will a chance for anyone who doesnt have a gun to get one for christmas.

Hopefully, i will be rolling a brand new TM P90TR when we do this.

This should be going down sometime in January. i will post further when we find a date. or PM/Email/IM me, and you'll be the first to know, as i will contact you personally.

Also, other players already on a team that just want to shoot are welcome. The Regulators are always looking for advice from experienced players.so feel free to come on down, have some fun, and bring your guns.
