I won something YAY!!! 8)
first time I've ever won something in a raffle in my entire life btw, totally serious

completely awesome time, it was indeed epic

I have only two concerns....

1) Why was Green the only team given armbands?

2) it should be a requirement to wear camo that either all matches, or, is all on the same team, IE If your crouched in the bushes, I may see your uppers and I def can't see your pants, so don't stand up and complain about a TK when the only visible color on your camo was an opposing team

It was camo-specific Read. We had to shuffle a few players around, and the only viable way to do that was the arm bands.

Next time there will be no wiggle room for camo-costume patterns.

For #1 - Team Terror volunteered to help out the team with the least number of players (which was Mugabe). They were wearing woodland (which was another team's camo pattern) so they got armbands to tell them apart.

#2 - That was covered in the game rules team set up (matching camo) but the numbers started getting lopsided.

I think Riddick and the admins did a great job trying to sort out all the teams and making it somewhat fair.

the armbands were in case we had issues where we needed to move someone to another faction. They had green on them to symbolize they were on the green team because they were wearing woodland which should have been red team.

next time maybe we will tape their heads. to solve any visual issues.

We wanted everyone to play and if someone didnt have the camo requirement and didn't want to dress in street clothes we would try to accomodate them the best we could. We want these events to be something that everyone can enjoy.

and what TOP said....

I was just under the impression all players were going to have armbands

and the #2 concern was less directed at admins and more at players, to be smart about what they wear, if you want to be on team A, don't blatently display camo from team B, I saw someone in 4 colors of camo :?

The teams never balance out, and I understand and expect that

yeah, both arms taped would have been nice, or just different camo as planned. but it wasnt bad. and it was needed because they would have been very outnumbered

Lol at the beginning I faked being dead without a deathrag up and snuck up to the Bemba and shot the warlord, that went well, at least 8 people shot me after I wounded him. I got transferred to Bemba right after XD Damn I got sniped right in the face under my nose in the last 3 minutes, was spitting up some blood from my gums after that one. Cant wait for next time.

if you get caught doing that again I hope you get turned into the admin. I thought you must have done something sneaky and underhanded to get through my security. Play fair or gtfo.

Good times. Camping the night before was the best overnight experience at SA ever. The game itself was great - I really like the 3-way stuff, since it moves the battle around instead of just fighting over the village the whole time. I like that no matter what team you're on, you're outnumbered. Got lots of shooting in. Harley and I spent an hour or more creepy-crawling around and radioing in KA-BAR's location from what wound up being out of bounds for this game. Oops. As redundant as it can be, I'd like it if boundaries were discussed at each game.

I agree.... It would be nice if everyone did the deadrag trick but you always get those who either forget theirs, or are too lazy to place it on their heads. I saw quite a few without deadrags but holding their weapon in a manner that showed they were dead and heading back to the spawn point.

So if you did this, it's no different than placing a deadrag on your head then shooting...

Or like I didn't have a spare pouch or pockets for a deadrag this game. I have to then put my trust in other players to NOT shoot me because I might just be "playing dead" since I only don't have a deadrag but my hands over my head. This game is based on honesty and trust. We are lucky to have less cheaters than paintball and I would like to keep it that way.

ya camping was awsome, most fun iv had at SA in a long time.
i agree that the 3 way fight is what made this game as fun as it was. there was never really a stalemate during the game. there was always fighting to be had.
i also agree that it would be nice to know boundaries before the game cause it got really confusing at one point.

the way i see it, if you dont take a death rag out with you then you have no room to phony pony if you get shot while already dead. i had one but it was under my gear and as such was a little hard to get at. i wanted to get back in the fight as fast as i could so at times i would just put my gun up and start moving back to spawn. i would of course say hit very loud and if i got hit again while moving back i would say that i was already dead. it is a risk that i took but i would not phony pony because i would be the main cause for a problem. mind you if i saw someone walking like that and not in the direction of thier spawn i shot them. i would expect the same from anyone.
