As for the points that TOP addresses, I saw a kid get shot in the back on bebma from the tower west of the main village, He didnt even feel it, whick was surprising cause i caught face of the, assumed, same shooter and i cried a little inside.

This happens but it was not a big part of the game, overall ive been to a great deal of games and this one was on of my most enjoyable ones yet

you had a heavy gun?
No, but two years ago I would have thought I did.

Those Bio BB's that Riddick are forcing us to buy and use at his events suck a$$ big time. Everytime I fired a burst they would spray all over the place, or hook to the right really bad. I think they are just re-bagged Crossman BB's

EDIT: Nevermind about above rant.... it musta been the mud in my barrel...

Gotcha F@#ker

Yeah you got me. BB's do not cause themselves to shoot right. and I don't force you to buy them and this is the only the event I have helped put on. But yes I get the joke but still to clarify.

I appreciate everyone for coming out and having fun and putting up with us. I hope all of you enjoyed yourselves. I know I had fun.

Yes Splat Action is old and we understand that. However give all the logistics (large play area, structures, camping, porta potties, close to freeway, parking, access, etc) it makes the most sense to use. John (owner of SA) is going to begin some rennovations of the field. They did repaint and partially rebuild the "tiger tower" over by the big concrete cylinders. The village is also being taken down and rebuilt. That is supposed to happen this spring. I actually like the field. After walking it, I said to myself this isn't bad at all. Just need to rebuild some of it. But overall it's a pretty good field.

Faction Wars 2.0 is moving to another field we have in place. This event will take place sometime this spring when the weather is much better. This field has the same ammenities as SA. We will annouce this event with photos when we draw closer to it. The game will also have some new implements placed in it.

I want to make a big apology to everyone for the raffle. I didn't realize how popular the extra purchase of the raffle tickets was going to be until it was too late. I personally will not have that happen again. Lesson learned. The purchase of additional tickets has been trashed canned for this guy.

I hope everyone liked the Fools gold mini-game. Since it seemed to be popular I will have some bigger prizes next time and more gold on the field. This was an idea i had and wanted to test it out.

Bawls was good, Pizza was good. Weather was good until the very end of the event. Thank you for supporting us.

No problem. 14 bawls is too much. AND along with shortbread cookies, jalapeno cheese and crackers, and a cappuchino in my MRE, I had peanut butter M&M's too. I don't know when they started adding two desserts like that, but damn!

I think my project after I finish my M4 thing is going to be a SAW...

We watched Tom start placing a few cylinders but thought it would be kind of shitty to follow him and pick up what he was putting down, we could have gained a bit on that but it didn't feel right.

It was a very fun day only thing remotely close to criticism I have is that it needed more admins. Very good day from start to finish, we will be back, in force, again!

Thank you Steve. I had one at the booth for example and then one for Seagreen at the briefing to show. Thank you for being a honorable player.

saw some hacking but it was miniscule this time. and didnt affect the whole game.

There is really only 1 time that I have seen blatent hacking (and that issue is old and put to bed). I see it 1 of 2 ways;

1 - The individual honestly doesn't know they have been hit. Can't really call that hacking if the person doesn't realize it. Those sneeky bastard snipers probably see the most of this. One thwack on the gear to the new player that doesn't call their hit, probably due to the fact they don't know they were targeted and they didn't feel anything. It comes with experience. LOL in fact I'm sure I've called myself out due to rain drops hitting my hat, but it could have been a sniper so....

and

2 - You actually didn't hit them when you thought you did. I think this is the case more often than not. I've fired at people that I could have sworn something should have hit them...but then again, I've also been on the other end too, when people are shooting at me, hitting everything around me...but not me.

To be realistic... this community and the in-game honesty is far above what can be expected, and everyone should be proud to be a part of it.

this is quite true, i only expirienced 1 event that i was positive was a hack and the others could very well be what you mentioned and werent important. i believe it was newbs. the only one that really pissed me off was when i watched the bbs hit (i was that close) and the person just went behind the tree, but they were still sticking out enough for me to hit them again but they just scooted farther behind the tree. then 30 seconds later, they come around the tree and get me, and as i stood up with my gun in the air and pulled out my dead rag, somebody next to me said "hey...your hit," that just topped it off. i got over it quikly though, the event was to fun not to.

and everyone else was awesome, even spectacular, and i am very proud to become a part of this community, even when theres so much heckling and bad jokes, its all friendly, and when an asshole comes along everybody teams up on them until they leave, and then its fun again. this is definitly the community for anyone who wants to play airsoft the right way.

one question, who was it that gave the before game rules?
