BSG Training at PTOC: Thursdays 6:30pm Start

Postby Seagreen » Wed Sep 24, 2008 8:27 pm

BSG is training tomorrow out at PTOC and wants to invite anyone interested to get involved and do a little mid-week airsofting. Individuals interested in getting involved with BSG are also encouraged to come on out and see what we are all about.

This training session will focus on MOUT (obviously) to help prepare everyone involved for the upcoming T1T event.

We have a flat rate of $100 for usage of the facility, so the more the merrier..and the lower the entry.

BSP Kerr will be running the CQB drills and fun.

We'll focus on fundamentals and of course, do some shooting too!

See ya at 6:30pm.

For everyone who made it, I had a great time. With the added shoot out at the end, made it all the better.

We have established that we'll train on Thursdays (at this point) consistently, as well as other days.

For those who couldn't make it tonight, feel free to spin by next week...same time, etc. We train (fundamentals of room clearing etc) and then do some live fire...whether it be scenario or live play...will depend on the night.

So, yeah, open to all and a good time to boot.

Terror Steve...good to see you again in game. You are always a good sport and fun to participate with.

edited to add: No gear req's, just come as you are with your normal kit. You just gotta be legal with the FPS ratings for PTOC.

You too Bill, lets do it again soon! It was a short shoot but it had a lot of action.

Avery, one of these days you and I are going to shoot at each other and only one of us will have to walk away. Kerr and I have had this "see each other and kill each other at the same time" thing going on for a while now. Sometimes I think our bb's would hit each other in flight if I was an inch taller.

Last nights shoot out was one of the cleanest I have ever seen.

And thank you guys for the invite to train with you last night. Please don't take my non participation as an elitest attitude. We didn't want to get in your way as we never train very seriously. You guys are full on tactical and we are more of the gunslinger types. Makes for some fun times!

I hope to see BSG and the rest of S4 out in the field with us soon. Can you imagine the damage we could do if we teamed up?

No thanks needed Tim. You guys brought yourselves there from way south, so I think I'll reflect that "thanks" back to you and Amos for making the trip.

You guys (read: everyone involved) are always welcome to participate. I had a lot of fun and took a lot away from the session.

I didn't see anything elitest about the evening Steve. It was all about being there and having a good time. We came to do the training thing and do a little team building, and then shoot it out.

The involvement expectation on my end was pretty transparent: If you would like to participate in the team training you are more than welcome to jump in and get your groove on. If not....maybe next time! We are in easy mode and wide open to everyone wanting to have some fun.

I'm just glad we had a solid turn out and with folks that are fun to participate with.

Ok, so tonight we are at it again:

630pm at PTOC. The more the merrier...we are going to do some shooting and scooting, as well as scenarios tonight.

Should be fun.

See you there.

Outstanding session last night. 15 in all. Thanks to all the folks that came and got their train on, and of course.....shoot on.

This is quickly becoming what the intention was. Several people that are out to have a good time, and do it right in the meantime. Wooot!

The pistol OPFOR shootout at the index point was freaking fun.

So much fun running with trained people when dumpin and bumpin.

We won't be training on Thursday OCT 9th. The whole military thing stole our trainer!

We'll be back at it the following Thursday though. ;0
