After the action

Postby john boy » Mon Sep 08, 2008 10:25 pm

I would like to Personally thank all members of NATO. Unit/Team Commanders and their men.

1st Recon - Thank you for taking care of business on the eastern part of the field. Your actions helped with the freeing of other assets to be used in other areas.

APST - The Anvil to the WAR Hammer. The Hammer to the WAR Anvil. You guys are total professionals. Thank you for taking part with NATO. Also, thank you for being on of NATO larger assets.

BioHazzard - Like 1st Recon, you guys freed up need assets that NATO need in other parts of the Field. Thanks for getting the Commo up and maintained.

Hellcats - Like the 1st Recon and Biohazzard, through you hard work you freed up all need NATO assets.

Mithril - Special Operation teams, I couldn't ask for anything better. Each time I handed your crew with a frago, you delivered. Even though one of your own was a spy. I see great things in your futures.

No.5 RAC - Thanks for being my RO's and my roaming Engineer. To bad there wasn't enough of us to provide adequate security for NATO CP. I know next time if we do a Command Company we will have our Commo's squared and have adequate security. So, I don't get shot twice by a sniper. Thanks to Starkiss, Wickers Max, and Moedae for helping.

Rouge - A refreshing surprise to the NATO side. Didn't know that you were coming. But vary glad you did. Through your hard work we were able to keep Bridges C and D through out the day. Those keeping the Southwest of the battlefield in NATO possession throughout the day.

SOTA - Another professional band of brothers. Through your support of the larger Companies. You were all over that field yesterday helping with all the major offensives.

Tactical Gangbang - Didn't know where you were. But didn't care. I know you guys can take care of business.

WAR - The Anvil to the APST's Hammer. The Hammer to the APST's Anvil. You a professional bunch of players. You help with taking possession of the two key bridges at the start of the day. Then proceeded to the east. No matter where you were, you brought the fight to the foe. You have a lot of talent in leadership and in your membership.

AMOS - Thanks for being the NATO Sniper.

To you all it was a privilege to serve under you. If asked to do so again, I will do it without a thought. I like to see units operating on their own and in unison with others on the field. I know that more work needs to be done on the headquarters side of things. I like to take this challenge, and make it work for the community. Get some of the bugs worked out so the game play is more fluid no matter what side we are on.

Seagreen wrote:Oh, you mean....who won the conflict?

At the beginning of the day, WARSAW had delivered an epic beating in the last battle, and was ahead 560 points.

Todays battle.......

Not only erased that total, but overcame the successes of Warsaw, and successfully pushed the Red's back across the border.

With...320 points to spare.

So, NATO with its massive success today, won the war.

Congratulations NATO! You can hold your heads high, you crushed the Russian invaders and once again restored balance to the free world!

With the willingness of the above units/teams to follow and to give direction we were able to reach all Frago's for the day at about 13:30.

Warsaw - You gave us a fight no matter if it was "Ivan's Crossing", "Allied Trident" or "showdown" you brought the fight. Thank you, your commanders, Units/Teams in making us work for every inch of ground we gain. It was an honor.

BSP - Thanks for bumping up the game level in this series of games. From the us of land nav, reading maps, to calling for artillery and air support. It has added to the game. Now we just need vehicles and a bigger place to play. Need help I am here..

Thank You all,
John Boy

Very nice job on the pictures. I'm psyched for the video. That was one of the better times I've had at Splat Action. Thanks to BSP for yet another damn fine game.

you need pics of girls.

i know for a fact that there were (atleast) five of us out there (i believe that i was actually the one to tell you that youngblood, there may have been someone else to say so also, who knows...).

two on Warsaw, and three on NATO, not a single picture with a girl in it.

i understand that there are only 5 females vs 126 males, but still.

i'm NOT saying make sure to get one of me next time, i would just like to see it shown in photo that there were some of us out there. just one, ANY one of us five would have done. :( [/rant]

ps. thanks for taking any in the first place. some of those are really cool. i like the ones with the smoke and light filtering through the trees.

oh, and to make myself happy:
mi amiga Maritza. it was her first time going to any sort of airsoft event. didnt see her too much on the field, but from what i hear she did pretty kick a$$.

Maritza did very well for her first game she gave me and my time cover fire and support several times so we could advance. She did a great job.

Thanks to everyone on both sides for an amazing game.

"Hey, Ryan... thanks for getting those up so quick, and taking the time out of you're day to NOT play or administrate full time so you could take photos of us. You are a swell guy."

How about you don't tell me what to say, ok? Thanks.

OR how about you take the time to respect someone that spent the day shooting with a camera instead of a weapon, AND get them sifted and uploaded on a website within 24 hours?

but anyway, there's some nice pics, and I'm super psyched for the video

The reason for the lower than average count for images was due to a malfunction with the camera.

It's going to the shop. ;[

Anyway, the best memories are the ones that you have in your head, because you can always bring up the story about the guy that shot the other guy in the groin....etc.

Again, thanks to all you folks that came and shot fools in the face.

Yeah, Splat Action is small, and we are working to always find larger and better suited venues...for just about anything. If you have leads, let us know. We'll dig.

BSP thanks for putting on a fun game and putting up the pics so quick. Yeah it sucks there couldn't be more photos, but I have been on the other side of the camera as well and I completely understand.
