Sleepy,
When has this ever been an issue anywhere in the airsoft world?
Just because someone is carrying a 6" cold steel on their vest doesn't mean they are going to use it to kill Diamond Workers, they're going to pull their rubber blade and do it.
Seriously, stop making mountains out of ant hills.

Ever heard of citizens arrest? anyone has the right to stop and detain someone who is breaking the law (even if force is required) and as soon as you get an attitude and fight it becomes resisting arrest.

The Silver Dragon is to the 1911 as the GSX-R1000 is to the Grand Vitara. They'll both get you down the road, but one helps you compensate for your shortcomings. "sleepy"

Yep.

My point is, I was carrying both a fixed blade Rambo knife in addition to my rubber training knife and guess what: no one got hurt. I used both knives for their intended purpose.
I used the Rambo knife for slaying inanimate objects that needed slaying, and used the rubber knife for slaying diamond workers.

hey this is airsoft....all your gay a$$ fantasies come to life here, right alex ?

@ mobius....yes i have heard of citizens arrest. what happens when you come up to me at a game and look at my pocket, see a clip for a unknown weapon type, make a assumption and say " citizens areresrt...I ARRREST YOU FOR CARRYING "fine...detain me and contact your local law enforcement." i am compliant....you gonna then try to then slap cuffs on me? YOU ARE NOW LIABLE. when johnny law arrives to a situation with two adults, and one is saying...."he carries a concealed weapon" and the other says " officer, this person stopeped me, looked at a clip on my pocket, that is a weapon, in plain sight, if it wasnt in plain sight, he wouldnt have seen it and therefore had no reason to detain me, he has unlawfully placed me under citizens arrest and i would like to press charges."

ask your self if you were a cop, what are you going to do...the same thing they do in most domestic disputes between citizens..... both can press charges, and both take a ride to jail.

so be a hero and try to citizens arrest everyone you see wearingt a pocket blade.....

100% agreed my man.

I too would have SERIOUS issues with "some dude" trying to hook me for carrying a knife. It's not his right to search me and without doing so placing someone under cit'z arrest for an alleged automatic knife that was allegedly seen etc is as wrong as the day is long.

EX LE or not, I don't really care. If you ask me nicely to put it in my car, I would almost without question comply.

If you approach me with hooks behind your back and start announcing that under ORS blah blah that you are placing me under arrest for carrying a concelaed weapon, there will be problems. Guaranteed.

So yeah, Ninja Dan, leave the policing and handcuffing at home and to the pros and enjoy your retirement.

**August 26, 2008. Morg and Chris agree on a topic. Mark the calendar. :)
