Beran wrote:well, i do apologize for assuming it was you.

however, my opinion stands to the victim. he or his team made a mistake, he got shot because of it. it was not in the head, it was in the shoulder, look at the angle in the picture.

im sorry if i come off as overly aggressive, but its a huge personal peeve of mine when people are rewarded for their mistakes because they wanted to complain about it. there was nothing dishonorable or unsafe about that action. the shooter could have used a rifle. he didn't. he could have shot him in the head. he didn't. granted, he could have safetied the guy, but with five or six other hostiles around, im not at all surprised that he did not.

I'm sorry my first post wasn't more tactful. I agree, safetying a large group like that is impossible. I understand you're point that our team was lazy. In that situation we made mistakes and it cost us time and effort.

No, he wasn't injured, hurt yes but you're correct- that comes with the game.

Now, while I fully agree with safety....isn't the MOUT a CQB area? Doesn't that make it rather reasonable to assume that the people you are shooting could very well be only a foot or two away from you and vice versa? Hence the lower fps rating for the weapons inside the area?

I honestly don't understand the issue here. When I entered that town I knew that it was a matter of time before I shot somebody only inches from me and with that knowledge I knew that it was only a matter of time before I myself was shot by somebody only inches from me. Granted, I tried to keep my muzzle low as I didn't want to light up anybody's happy smile while coming around a corner but if somebody else decided to light my ugly mug up...I'm not going to complain about it. That is CQB, it's what makes it fun for me....where is the suspense of checking a corner if you know that the person on the other side is just going to parlay you? Where is the adrenaline rush of storming into a dark room if it weren't for the knowledge that there might be five guys in there about to make your awesome tactical entry a rather painful experience? I see nothing wrong with that picture if the guy was a living player.....other then the fact that he stuck his hand outside the window to take the shot. He should of known better and stayed further into the room where he was concealed from the outside players.

Oh Hi guys, I guess I missed all the fun while I was in the real world.

It was a righteous kill, my room hadn't been grenaded.
Right after the shoot I got lit up and I went down, THEN my room got grenaded.

You all whine too much.

While Tim IS a blood thirsty evil sonofabitch, he is as forementioned one of the most honorable and hardcore players on the field. I see him CLEARLY shooting for center mass with contolled shots.

The fact that he took the time to draw his sidearm to dispatch the complacent individuals speaks volumes for him. He was armed with an M4 AND a shotgun in addition to that Glock. Would it have been me in that window there would have been no such quarter given; an extended bust on auto would have decided the situation neatly.

It's CQC. People bleed and that's all there is to it.

HTFU.

Actually that was a total tool move when there was already a grenade in the building and the guys outside were waiting for the admin to walk in the room.

you must be the butt-hurt individual who went and whined to an admin when he got shot for not watching a window three feet behind him. that house had at least three rooms, a grenade kills one room. that leaves at LEAST two rooms for people to come from to refill that killed room. there were i think four guys in that house, do you think they were all in that one room? your entry team lacked the situational awareness to watch the possible incoming fire vectors, and it got you killed. man the f**k up and deal with it. this is airsoft, you aren't dead you just respawn.

i bet if you find yourself in the same situation in the future, you'll be watching those windows like a goddamn hawk, wont you? example is the school of mankind my friend, and we shall learn at no other. if i were you, i would simply consider myself lucky that this was not a real combat action and i was allowed to actually learn something without a real bullet in the back.

Ok let me clarify... I am the dork getting shot in the pic and yes I was also the one that called the admin over.

1. I was not covering the window becuase I was looking at the door that I was throwing the grenade through (yes i threw it) and figured that while I was doing that... somebody would have been watching the damn windows... oh well

2. I called the admin over becuase I took 2 rounds in the top of the head from 1ft away, apparently the guy has bad aim or ? (i got a couple in the back too.) In the heat of the moment I called the admin becuase I was pissed that he shot me in the head... at the same time in the heat of the moment the guy doing the shooting had just had the front room of his position naded with unknown attackers ready to take the door... I would have prolly opened the window and just started shooting too.

It was the first time I have ever played CQB and it was really awesome, I learned alot. Im not permanently damaged so lets just get back to craking jokes about the stupid look on my face is.
