It looks like I really might not be able to make it anymore. It's beyond my control.

:(

I was really looking forward to this.

Yes, if your over 80 then you have your own respawn area :p

Seriously...
Here is the age limit rule:

Is there an age limit?
Yes, If you are under the age of 18 you must have your waiver signed also by your parents
& Notarized by a legal Notary. If you are under the age of 16 you must also be accompanied for the whole event by a parent or guardian.

Let me know if you have any questions. There are going to be some younger kids out playing. My son who is 12 will be playing.

Wanted to show some of the props for the event.
These are actually working props that we will be using.

- YES, the timer for the "C4" is fully functional!

- The booby trap prototype is being tested:

- Unpainted spud guns:

Video of first spud gun. Took a bit to figure it out. Great bb spread. We used talcum powder as a smoke effect.

I know I'm still not able to attend but... Please tell me the Potato guns are completely for cinematics at a safe distance from players and used by specifically chosen individuals such as admins or player admins.

Good point.
We have used some other spud guns and we usually use them behind the front line. The bb's shoot pretty far so we just aim it up in the air and let it fly.
If you have a team on line coming at you these things work awesome.

Well I just want to clarify an issue with potato cannons and airsoft. They really are dangerous pyrotechnic items. Many other communities around the world frown upon them due to their flamable and explosive nature. People can get injured and usually it's the people operating them. It's why Pyrotechnic devices are usually banned in other airsoft communities.

EDIT: I just looked over them again, are those air pressure operated? I noticed the bottom PVC tube.

They are air powered.
We have several gas guns that we use sometimes. But since this event will be on Federal Property they said no to any pyro that can cause a spark.
The guns are real simple. PVC, Lawn sprinkler valve and a battery and switch.
