All bolt action weapons/snipers need to be pre-approved (just like Iron Anvil) if they run over 400 fps. The NK's can have 2 sniper teams as well, no biggie call them anti sniper snipers or whatever. Looks like we missed that one detail when we wrote the OP. Sooo many details go into making an OP. I apologize for missing it.
It is extremely easy to come up with an idea: for an OP. I've heard it a million times...
Jo Blow---"I've just written the coolest OP ever!"
TM----"Great! What is it about?"
JB----" Oh its this extremely long and drawn out extended battle over 80 acres that includes the greatest props!"
TM---" did you write it down?"
Jo Blow--" no its right here in my melon!"
TM---" Great, lets start with the easy stuff, like where do they players start from, how will the sides accomplish there missions, how are the teams split up, how are the sides even going to know what their missions are?"
Jo Blow---" Oh... it actually has to function? Well I thought I'd hand it off to you to finish the details."
Happens every month at least once.
The long and the short of it is this. We come up with an idea. Then the three of us sit down and write it out from start to finish, trying to think of every angle of play. Then we look at it a day or two latter and correct our own thinking. Then we write up the posts for these boards and others. Turns out we missed a detail for this game, the NK snipers.
When you have an Op run as smoothly for players and admins as Iron Anvil did it is easy to assume that the community will understand that this Op is ran under the same rules as the last one. That is our mistake as game promoters. Op Witchcraft will have the same ruleset and the same admins as Op Iron Anvil. Please forgive this one omission... I think we do a pretty good job at these games. We keep them fast paced with clear rulesets and objectives that don't change during the game.... We do reserve the right to spring crap on you guys during the game though
