Kill tally doesn't really matter.
It's evident that Warsaw won the game.

If you had fun, you won the day regardless of which side you were on.
Personally, I had a blast.

At times I sat at the NATO Spawn to reload and catch a breath. I saw droves of bodies come in, state there names, and jump back in. At times it might of been a little overwhelming for the spawn lad we had. Also, he lost his pen, at one point. Don't know how long but I gave him mine...

nah,I never count kills. I did get a glock kill on the warsaw sniper laying beside the log at khe-san.
and another glock kill on some poor kid that walked up on a bunch of us as we were chilling in the trenches up the hill. Oh and a glock kill on springer shotgun guy that was in that big stump hole.

oh and BigFoot, that sniper at Khe-san that shoot you in the head from the bushes on the other side of the villiage :D. that wasnt a sniper. I am pretty sure I shot Randle too around the same time.

Sorry about the head shoots, but thats all that was visible above the fence. I was laying on the ground.

yeah that was me...
im still not sure if i actually got shot by you or not but i called myself out cuz i knew i was going to die anyway (out of ammo :))

that was like 2 seconds after i got that saftykill lol i still think that was epic... he got destroyed

Good game guys.
This was my first OP and I have to say it was the funnest thing I've ever done.
Kudos to BSP for setting up this event.
And to Renegade, I have to say, you have a rediculous amount of magazines.
But, if it makes you happy and it gets the job done, well, more power to ya.
Me: "Yeah! Stick that Acog on your pipe, and smoke it!"
Eric: "Nick, do you make up these sayings as you go along, or do you have a stockpile, rammed somewhere up your a$$?"

So that was you. One of three time I got hit in the head that day. I also took a bb to the face as we were crossing the river. Bill is a witness to that one. And I also had one bounce off my left jaw during a different enemy encounter.

I would like to give a message to those players who stopped playing and started bitching about hits during the game. I notice about 15 of you standing around your spawn refusing to play so that we would back down.
Bitching and complaining that people aren't calling their hits is pointless. (I had a team mate who complained during the day, it accomplished nothing for him) If someone doesn't call a hit then shoot them some more. After I called my hit down near the creak I heard some NATO guy say "Finally someone calls a hit." My reply was that I alway call mine. And his statement wasn't true I say players using the honor system around me during that particular time. Refusing to spawn because you need a break is understandable. Refusing to spawn due to things not going your way is stupid. That may not have been that case with all of you thought. [/rant]

Thanks BSP for an enjoyable event, I am looking forward to the next game in the series.

I had a great time on Saturday camping and Sunday playing. There was a lot of good sportsmanship out there on the field most of the day. However, later in the day all out hacking became abundant as others have mentioned.

The best part of the day for me was at the end when I safety killed Mobius. He turned and looked at me kind of confused and pissed at the same time. Saying something along the lines of "I'm on your team". After that I threw up my hands and ran across the bridge to the Village shouting my callsign as the spy for WARSAW. I was greeted warmly by my long lost comrades.

Actually... With the way the game is run it would seem like the kill tally is one of the key details in preparation for the next OP. That whole Battlefield 2 "tickets" concept and all. I saw someone hacking on my own team near the end of the game and made sure he knew he was out. Warsaw guys, if you see it, call it, friendly or not.

I think we need to offer tea and cookies at the respawn for checking in after a death. Now that would be an incentive to get tallied! :) Although, as Avery Kerr pointed out every time I saw him in the respawn, there was a tea party already going on... :( ahah

Bigfoot is right, bitching doesnt help... But it is extremely frustrating when you obviously hose someone and do not call hits. Yes I heard, "Bigfoot always calls his hits," I believe ya. During the spawn raping, I ran into Unperson's fire several times, Call my hit, then try again. I died 4 or 5 times without killing him. :(

I did however see the kid took 4 rounds to his side by my before I died. I put on my death rag and walked toward the player.
I memorized your face bud. If I see you again your a$$ is mine. No admins, just me removing your a$$ and wearing it as a hat!

Oh and one more thing, safety kills dont count if your mag is empty. You know who you are too.

There were also 2 kids out there in black shirts, one shirt was a Jeager shirt. You 2 are sneaky! The one with the uzi deserves a high 5. He scared the poop out of me.
Sometimes AP makes me cry...

People just kept running past me toward the rest of the force and I kept gunning them down.

I heard lots of people calling the Warsaw force behind me cheaters and I assume that's why the NATO kept running right passed me trying to kill them.

I did notice lots of the people I shot just get up and head back to respawn without calling out hit, or not calling it out loud enough.

Other than that the only cheating I noticed were a few Warsaw players that I had to yell at for talking while dead.

But that was only a small part of the game and even while that was going on I had loads of fun.
I'd like to thank:
BSP: For running this great game.
Ron: For leading our team and being very good at the yelling I noticed that wherever you were yelling I was drawn to. And of course choosing PSC for SF
Flak For bringing a green laser. Thank god you did.
And everyone that went with me to flank way around the enemy that was a lot of fun.

my friend got paint on his car from the paintballers.

excellent shot to the nato guy that TK'ed me in the back of the head, and the warsaw guy that shot out my red dot sight. I cursed quite loudly, but went back to shooting because gun shots don't count.

Why no raffle?

Why did Nato's respawn admin take down names? Just take total tallies and call it good.
You can't treat every situation as life or death, cause you'll die a lot of times.

AAR

Improves-

Give a buffer to the Spawn area, perhaps using those shade tents that had 'netting'.

Hacking, more admins....if you see a team mate hacking, call them on it...loud and clear.

Running from artillery, fix has been suggested.... you run from an admin, your dead, repeat offenders being removed from game.

"Impervious" buildings, since the air strikes didn't work so well (because of equipment issues) perhaps allowing M203's with foam rockets to destroy builings, killing people in them.

Sustains-

Using the artillery, this gives the ability to weaken defenses before an attack and to root out dug in personel.

Good gameplay, for those who called hits and had a generally good attitude about it.

Using only one STA team, reduced confusion and also made those missions a much larger impact.

Using the bridges as control points, however.... to eliminate the problem of people jumping the creek... allow crossing anywhere.
