Southern Oregon - Hog Creek game June 22nd, Meet at 9am

Postby Nox » Wed Jun 18, 2008 9:43 am

Due to extenuating circumstances, I have the weekend of the 21st 'off' so I can play again this weekend.
Everyone that would like to attend the game, either meet at the field or if you haven't been there, meet at Ray's Sentry in Merlin no later than 9am as we will be leaving at 9 sharp for the field.

Game types: (suggestions anyway)
Modified Sector Control -
2 sector controls will be set on the field. The goal is to take control of both sectors by the end of the 2 hour game limit.
Unlimited respawns
No ammo cap
If there is a 'tie' and each team holds a sector, there will be a 'grind off' - each team will have 10 minutes of R&R (Rest and reload) while a single sector is moved to somewhere midfield.
When game on is called, one team must control the sector for 5 minutes consecutively in order to win. The caveat?
No respawns, 30 minute time limit. This will be a hot, fast and furious game. (You cannot win by holding the sector at end of game, it MUST be held for 5 minutes otherwise it remains a 'tie'.)

2nd game
A center flag variation using a satchel that must be placed in the opponents flag area.
Each team will have a flag area that is their Command Post. The opposing team must place the satchel into the flag base in order to win.
If the satchel carrier is killed, he must drop the satchel in place - No tossing it to other players! It must be handed from person to person if it is transferred, otherwise it might 'detonate' and be replaced back into the center flag position while the people involved respawn. (This does not constitue using it as a grenade.)
This might involve medic rules and maybe ammunition caps - its undecided yet.

This sounds like a fun game, I will see if my friends (they went last week) will go again. Hopefully they will.
