Lol I was one of those guys in the AFB during that movement. Seeing you two was a big sigh of relief once you put the guns down lol. Just 5 minutes before that we were ambushed, which was one I was caught off-guard eating in that one pic with my mouthful... funny shit lol

That was funny...
This game went really well compared to most ops lately. I'd say there was only one complaint that I heard and it was a minor confusion on team kills.
Other than that, wow, most people couldn't seem to stop raving about iron anvil. Keep up the great work Team Terror.

I think what made Iron Anvil a great op was due to the nature of the game. It wasn't just "go in, defend this village, we'll call it when we get bored." Both sides fought to gain and keep territory. I gotta say, the government fought like tigers the last time we took back Wild Woods.

I was kind of surprised at how few people there were there. What did the final numbers wind up being? The small-unit actions really made this a good op. You had to go hunting to find targets. I was on a 5-man patrol towards AFB, and we only had a contact with one scout on our way their. Most of the heavy shooting we did, didn't happen until we hit the AFB.

That being said, we had a few moments that were massive fuckups.

Most of my team had bad radios for the whole day. Moving towards WW in a 6/7-man patrol, we opened up on a target to our front. We probably dumped 2000 rounds on this head that kept popping up over some roots. I know I emptied a high-cap at him. Finally, we kill the bastard, just to find out, it's one of my own guys. Funny as hell, but it shouldn't have happened.

BTW, I've posted my After-Action Report on the ST15 website, and I'm currently typing up the Lessons Learned for my team. They'll both be in the LT's Notes.

I was there as Army Infantry, and I gotta say, Op Iron Anvil was freakin' AWESOME.
There were great admins, the objectives were challenging but not impossible, and the play field was amazing.

One of the highlights of the game for me was when a squad of Army Infantry, after fighting long and hard to take Hamburger Hill [BTW, to all Militia Forces stationed at the Hill, you guys did a awesome job defending it.] went towards the Wild Woods and engaged the bunker there. I flanked the bunker from the DMZ side, and slowly worked my way up to a pile of rocks. I opened fire on the bunker [for the second time] from there, and managed to seriously mess with the defenders for a good long while. Until a squad of tangoes came rushing up, pinned me down with SAW fire, and eventually killed me. That was a awesome moment for me.

Anyways, great game everyone! I really enjoyed it! Great sportmanship from everyone, and once again, the admins were great. So on a scale from 1 to 10, 10 being the most insanely cool, I give this Op a solid 10.
