Agreed. How much time did we spend building up our "Berlin Wall" thinking that they would have to use it. Also placing how many troops at it in the beginning to ensure they couldn't take it. I think once we were able to cross the river at any point the game got a little more disorganized.
Ultimately, we're all adults running around with toy guns. Let's keep it in perspective.

I had an absolutely amazing time.
Yes, there were flaws, but it was a damn fine game.

This was my first time at Splat Action and I thought it was damn awesome. I'm sure to those who go there alot, it's nothing amazing to them, but for me I really liked the set up and all the terrain.

I have to give props to everyone that helped put this event together, because you guys did a great job! I think the blanks being fired was a nice touch for some realism and was definitely able to get everyone's attention.

I'm really looking forward to see how the rest of these play out and to see what you guys come up with next for missions and so on.

Keep up the great work!

As my first event, I LOVED this! I wish I could make it to the upcoming IC events, but because of the long drive I doubt I'll be able to make another one. Anyways, thanks for the pics, I can't wait till the movie is done:-)

I don't want to be mean or anything

Wasn't the age requirement 16+ for IC?

IDK I guess I'm just getting older

There was a lot of younger peeps on Warsaw than NATO I thought

15.

Fifteen.

After fourteen, but before sixteen.

I had a good time, thanks to everyone at SA and BSP. I have a few comments... The respawn for NATO sucked. Administration may not realize how downing it was. And I'm just a kid! I feel bad for all you old folks hiking all the way across the field uphill. I probably spent an hour if not more walking to spawn, however I was working on the complete opposite end of the field for the majority of the game. I would recommend having a less vigorous respawn with a wait time to compensate.

There was very little bs, and overall players showed great sportsmanship. I was disappointed that two of our players could not make it to the event because of the cap, when only a fraction of the players showed up. These players should not of had to stay home with slots open. I prefer a system where pre-payment guarantees a slot and the remainder are sold on site with a cap. A few other geneal points:

Command dissapeared for the last half of the game.

I never saw NATO ever use artillery and didn't really understand when/ if it was available, how to call it in, etc.

Not enough noobs on warsaw! :D

Again, thanks to everyone. This event definately had some amazing improvements over past ones. I look forward to further steps forward and will attending future events without a doubt. Keep up the good work!

Try walking there from WARSAW spawn (the logging road), in a ghillie suit, wearing to many chlothes, and at the rear end of the day, thats a shitter of a hike.

OK sunshine. There was no sarcasm. I simply stated it twice, and then explained what 15 actually was in case you were not sure. Not everyone has a solid grasp of the English language or the number system, and wanted everyone to be crystal clear before we start making ourselves look like a bunch of douchebags. That is multiple bags of vaginal douche, in case you were looking for further validation.

Thank you for your concern though... it has been noted, and ignored. ;)

sustains:
1. good player count - easy to maneuver yet contact was always imminent
2. arty dynamic - kept the pace up, and the battle lines were always changing
3. consistent goals - there wasn't any real confusion on what there was to do
4. tight admining - if there was a problem, admins weren't hard to find

improves:
1. respawns - spread out, and hiking up to NATO's sucked much balls, perhaps next time have limited checkpoints without point value that the teams could fight over just for closer respawn privilege's. having NATO's spawn right next to the cars didn't help for those who can't resist leaving the fight to eat.

2. better clarification - maybe visual markings for those with special roles, i.e mech's, demo, etc.

3. more AR's!!! :o

We did use it. Someone called it in on a Warsaw position then a bunch of us rushed in to re-capture our comm center. I saw it used twice myself.

Another I might add is some sort of better team affiliation marking, Im sure I made some people angry by walking into the WARSAW spawn, and then proceeding to walk off.
