Just spend $25 on a replica PASGT from Andy & Bax. Jan 1st, 2006, I tripped while trying to vault over a guard rail and would have busted my head on the edge of the road (and the wonderful chunky gravel) if not for the PASGT I was wearing, and it wasn't even real. Turns out that a foam-lined plastic shell helps quite a bit.

Sounds pretty rugged for a replica. I'll have to pick one up if I can't get my hands on one of these by the end of next week.

The second model looks pretty damn comfy with the ear pads and all. It's a little more expensive, but I found it on Dicks Sporting Goods site for less.

p.s. I can't wait for this game. It'll be my first urban game.

I took a RAZOR brand bike/skateboard helmet, spray painted it flat black and called it good. It looks very similar to the Panther Helmet and the pro tech Helmets. Including the paint, it was one third of the cost.

We have a bit of a change in situation (if the powers-that-be approve):
Eastside Rangers will confirm 6 people for assaulting on Saturday. We will be paying at the event.

M203?

Postby Vulcan » Sun Mar 30, 2008 3:53 pm

Bill,

Are M203's allowed? I know that there are limited BB's at the outset of the scenarios.

A couple of us have sealed mesh goggles, are these ok?

DRAT will rock 5 players, on assault on Saturday Night.

We will be in Tiger Stripe.

I'll paypal soon.

Have a great day.

We are limiting the ammo supply at the beginning of the round. This will stop stalemates and overall blind firing.

Mesh is fine.

What about the assaulting ammo? I know we get 200 rounds at the onset of the match, but what about after death? And for that matter what will the re-spawn rules be?

On competition of a mission, you will recieve more ammo, not on respawn.

Respawn is based upon the medic/bandaid rule for the assaulting teams. Run outta bandaids...run outta lives.

are we restricted to bdus only?

I was going to wear black carhart dungarees, and a long sleeve black shirt (playing on defense) under my black tac vest. I'm a little tight on money so If regular clothing is not allowed I can drive over to the airsoft outlet, and pick up a set of black bdus. Either way I'm making this game both days.
