Interested, but despite being a sneaky bastard, I have neither the gear (no ghillie), nor the training. I could probably help out somehow though.

I want to play toooooooo.

If you do the land navigation portion right, it won't matter if you give people a grid. That's actually the object, to try and navigate with JUST A MAP and COMPASS to the next grid and get within 25m of your trgt stake. Stakes are numbered only. Your reference sheet has grids and berings. When you get to a stake you simply write down the number on the stake.... ie. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 etc.... Stakes are not marked with a grid ref.

Don't sweat it Neil, it's easy stuff to learn... I promise :D

I am planning on holding this at Tommys new Lebanon field. I am attempting to get some current Active Duty Snipers to show you guys where the real-world bar is set. My PLAN is to have a 2-man team on the field with you guys, and any extras will be looking for you from fixed positions along the day infiltration course.

Jolly, if you can get the items I need, then you can participate on a team if you'd like.

I'm going to post some links to a series of relevant FM's (Land Navigation, Sniping etc...) when I can find them.

What manuals do you need Gunney. They've all just recently changed and I have all of them hard copy in my office, but I can get them digital if you want.

Jason-

I have a 350 acre ranch, if you want it..............all you have to do is say the word. Terrain includes rolling hills and open grassland to a mtn side with heavy timber and brush.

It's a drive like the dome...............but if your other field doesnt pan out, the offer is on the table.
