We all know how much work has gone into this. We thank you BSP for trying.
But this close to D-hour, please don't throw on event at another venue. To make it up to us. Because I rather have quality event in stead of something thrown together, at another site. Take a well deserved breath. Shake it off. Now, find me venue, give me a date, and the event that you guys worked so hard on. I can wait. I rather have quality than something thrown together at the last moment.

As for the National Guard issue
Believe or not this happens all the time. Especially to civilian organizations who have plans on State Military camp/base. It is a National Guard facility National Guard an other State organizations take priority over civilian events. It sucks. But it is a fact of life.
I hope that BSP was working with Camp Withycombe Base Commander, months ago. Not using some other avenue to get to use of the camp. If the latter happened, then we should learn from it.
Army Recruiting?
CQB Competition?

Lesson Learned?

My sentiments exactly, I know you feel you owe us something, and to some degree you do, since we paid for it. But this kinda thing happens, and rather than throw something together I would rather see the awesome event you guys had in the works get rescheduled.

I think this will still be an awesome event, but just at a different location. I don't think that the caliber of the event will suffer at all with this set back. I look forward to going this weekend and anticipate the post from the BSP crew tomorrow letting us know the low down.

Just an idea. If all else fails, offer MOUT 2 training camp. Camp Rilea looks perfect for teams maneuvering. Do a full scale one, like BSP did last time. Bangs, props, smokes, humvees, yadayada... Once again, just an idea...

I'd rather they just postpone it. I want the event I paid for, or I want my money back.

I'd hate to sound like an a$$, but that's how I see it.

I'm a major BSP fan, and I always enjoy their events, but this "make up" thing on sunday... Is going to be a thrown together thing, at a location that is a 3 1/2-4 hour drive away for alot of my guys.

This is how I see it... Give us the event we paid for. or refund us. Because as it is now... Myself and many others will not be attending on Sunday.

I want what I was shown/promised. Not some half-assed version of what I thought I was getting.

I think they have made it clear that this will not be half assed and thrown together. If you refuse to believe them, they offered refunds. That just means it's going to be easier for Battlesim to win and for me to get my 4th SCAR. 8)

I can see your point of view but take a look at ours. We have trained every weekend for months, all members have bought $100 jackets, boots, helmets and gear as to look professional, as well as spent hours prepping gear and working on guns. We're also coming from Seattle / Tacoma to this. For us, this is a commitment which we have planned for weeks and I, for one, trust BSP to deliver on their promise. If they don't, it gives us a reason to hate everyone from Oregon even more ;) .

My team has been training for this event just as hard if not harder than yours.

Plus, we don't have to try to look professional, we are. :p

I trust BSP. But with the ways things are now, I will be waiting for them to post what's going on tomorrow(today I guess).

I do declare that I challenge you to a duel of both wit and skill set in an indoor location with various seriousness and hobbycocks. Do you accept kind good sir?

Eh, we'll set something up if you'd like.

But let's keep this on topic shall we? I know this is AP (The forum that loves derailment) but let's talk about the challenge.

I'm down for a reschedule. I don't want my money back. I want that f**kin' Challenge!!

I'll wait as long as it takes for you guys to nail down a location. I'm chomping at the f**king bit, let me at it. If you need some assistance, I'll do whatever I can to help make your Challenge a reality. I'm in.

Oh, and this brings the list of things that the ARNG has done for me to exactly... 0. F**k, I hate the National Guard. No seriously. It's not just this event, that was the cherry on top of the shit-flavored sundae I've been served by the ARNG. They got my hopes up for 18 f**king months before finally telling me no, I wasn't allowed to join their gentleman's club. F**k them all, I'll find a better way to serve my Country.

Motherf**kers.

Well, uh... Yes, that will happen.
