Also, pertaining to the restraints.

Restrain is a command that is designed for the safety of the actor. Restraints can become dangerous, especially when emotions are high and people start cinching stuff down a little too much.

We wil retain the standard rules for "restraint". If individuals want to have the RIGHT KIND of zipties hanging off their gear for the simulated effect and looking cool...MORE POWER TO YOU, but they may NOT BE USED IN COMPETITION.

Guys, just to fill you all in, the vendor area is going to be like a gunshow. We've talked to a lot of vendors who sell anything and everything related to airsoft, mil-sim, etc. There should be food, airsoft stuff, and the Army is bringing some cool things too. Even if you're not competing come out and check out the vendor area.

It was my understanding that BSP (and historically, when it was AP's event) didn't ALLOW restraint devices - even rubber bands. I'm hearing two different things here. Troy is saying no, unless you can prove you've got some expertise in that field so people don't get hurt, and you're saying bring them if you want.

Can we get a little clarification?

Sorry for the confusion. They are NOT required. I was trying to encourage people to bring them with thier gear, but they would not be used, for the realism of appearance.

No restraining devices are allowed to be used on any person during the event.

Hope this clarifies for you. I mispoke earlier when I said people needed to have them on thier person in order to use the in game "restrain". I have been corrected since then.

Also if your going to quote me without understanding the sarcasm of my post, Please at least note my other requirment for use.

My requirments put forth an almost unattainable set of goals to use such items.

Please see the restraint thread to further this discussion.

I dont quite understand how we sign up for the other shooting events. I tried to sign myself up for the singles, and Duke and I for the Tandem, but we're still not up there, did I skip a step?
