4H Center - Meeting on the Elbe 1/2 Dec 2007

These pictures are from an event at the 4h Center near Salem, OR. The battle was a reenactment of the meeting on the Elbe - when US forces finally met up with Russian forces at the Elbe river, and the Germans were trying to escape the pocket.

About 6 members of Battlesim went down as part of the Fallschirmjager unit.
Also in attendance were the SS, a Heer unit, a bunch of Americans (some paratroopers I know), and the Russians.

The nice thing about airsoft is you can actually hit people

Looks like good times. It's tough to tell when you're killing and being killed in reenactment, we'd hollar at the Americans before shooting them, "HEY, AMI!" *BOOM*, so they'd be looking at us and see the muzzle flash. Likewise they'd try to get our attention before blasting us.
