At most Oregon games bolt action can upgrade up to 550 fps, everything else is 400 or below. However, some washington groups allow higher semi auto limits.

BEWARE:

If you even begin to utter the idea that your semi-auto should be allowed hotter than 400 fps you will likely be beaten with large blunt implement, preferably garnished in barbed wire.

Except that AIDs dies outside the body incredibly quickly. Ignoring that small detail, I would urge you, Shadowwolf118, our uber 1337 sn1pz0r friend, to READ THE GODDAMNED STICKIES THAT TALK SPECIFICALLY ABOUT FPS LIMITS!

Predominantly: http://airsoftpacific.com/viewtopic.php?t=104, which explicitly states that the ONLY weapon allowed beyond the 400fps ceiling is a BOLT MOTHERFUC.KING ACTION rifle. Semi-auto =! bolt action.

Go die.

Excuse the double-post, but on a total segway from baby-punching, doesn't 470fps seem to be a completely arbitrary and inane number? I mean, really, why exactly 470? Not 450, not 500, nope. 4-7-0. Maybe its just me, but that seems really, really random. :?

Giving a 13 yearold a 470 fps rifle (that's taller than he is) is liking putting a chimp on the big red button that reads "end world". Fools gonne die.

actually, hes right. in this thread it specifically says:

Gas Pistols - Green Gas
Fully Automatics - 400 fps (1.5j)
Sniper Rifles (Bolt Action) - 550 FPS (2.8j)
CQB/Indoor - All under 300 fps (0.8j)
*Limits Measured with .20g B

there is no mention of semiautos, and while it would seem obvious to most of us, to a new member it might be more confusing. that fps chart also lists the cqc limit as 300fps, not the actual 330fps that we go by. looks like some revisions need to be made.
