I had a lot of fun shooting and being shot by all of you.

DRAT and 5RAC, you were the only 2 teams to not walk straight down "The Highway of Plastic Doom" and thus you were the only 2 teams to actually rout our force.

5RAC--you retreated (READ: Tucked tail and ran like the limey sissies you are) with only one man holding you off. He moved like the wind and made you all think there were many more of us than there actually was.

On the other hand--it also means you killed us to one man standing :( .

Always a pleasure, gang!
Please buy your gear from Rick Fisher; perhaps he can buy a Life.

Naill,

As always you and your OSK team have put together a first rate event. Thanks for the opportunity for our team to continue to hone our skills. We really appreciateed the event and had a great time. It was also cool to play against some of your contracted OpFor players (Knuckles and KK come to mind).

Looking forward to FT IV.
Life is Good!
Have a great day.

Knuckles, I knew there was only one man left since I had single handedly flanked your entire force.
Unfortunately that last man shot me in the head.
Since I was 'unconcious' I couldn't convey that intel to my team and so I had to sit quietly and helplessly and watch my guys fail to dispatch him.
Your station was my favorite btw. I don't know why but shooting you always makes me smile. (even if you were already dead when I shot you.)
Hopefully on the next one we'll run opfor and you and yours can compete!

A special thanks to PAC for contracting to be OpFor this time around.

Also a thanks to the Ghosts (The real ones) for being OpFor on their 2nd Fear This event, for those of you that did not see them, they were who was shooting at you on the break contact.

Fear This IV is already in the planning stages, we are looking at some time in the after November to Feb.

PS: To the Teams in the Competition, great job! Remember, winning is secondary to learning where you need work and how to work as a team.
I say this for the 937th OSK, Ghost Recon and PAC, thank you for coming out!

I want to know who won? (actually I just need Niall to tell me it was RAC 5....)

Speaking of RAC 5, I heard they did great on the break contact, as well as the react to ambush. They didn't lose any men before they retreated on the break contact, and they only lost one on the ambush before they scooted.

However, they lost six or seven out of ten on the react to contact before they retreated from the fire of one enemy soldier.

Hey, at least y'all are good at retreating! :D

And Chapped, I should have some good excuse for you, but I don't. :)

Actually we had 5 casualties and all 5 were recovered. No KIAs.

I don't need an excuse. We've got 2 first place "Fear This" trophies to prove it.
So I guess knowing when to retreat is'nt such a bad thing after all. :p

NEVER retreat...

Practice 'Tactical Withdrawal or 'Break Contact'

^Very true^

Thanks for showing us a few places we need to work on. We had a GREAT time. I'd have been better off if I wouldn't have been experiencing multiple athsma attacks all day. I'll be bringing Albuterol with me to any and every game I attend in the future.

I was surprised at how much more... hasty... the hasty defence was this time. We got to the place we were supposed to defend and were instantly under fire. Pretty hasty.

Now to practice breaking contact...

You did get hit hard, maybe harder than any of the other teams at the station. But... you did very well there anyways, set a good parimeter and didn't loose everyone either. You gotta make that kid your permanent feild medic.
