Braddock wrote:yes, we have a lot of work planned for this feild. The owner is 100% behind us.
We have the heavy equipment to do it.
We will be putting out a call for help when the time is right.

Where we played today was a very small area of the property. We didnt even cross the first creek.
There are 2 creeks :)

This should be a fun project for sure. I look forward to helping cut, clear and then build. I wanted to say i was sorry :( for getting are side a little lost in the beginning of the game. I made a left at one point where are last respon point was and we were off to another area. But i turned around and we were back on track. I have seen the rest of the field, it does not take much to get lost, that for sure  The good part about this field is, when it is raining, we will have a lot of cover with the thick trees to keep playing. Those heavy wooded area with the branches cutting up your face can be all cut off. I think some bunkers along the path will help for cover fire to add to the fun. Another thing i notice is we will need more than one respon point.

I did not feel too bad when even Eric got 4 of us lost, taking the one guy back who was not feeling well due to lack of water. We went off the trail by maybe 40 feet, but it was like we were in Columbia going thru hills, a river, and those got dam super size thorn bush things they have here in the NW :p, cut like knifes. I want to be the first to cut those things down if i find them any where on the field :ninja:

I have some pressure treated lumber to donate. Not a lot, mostly 8 foot sections of redneck fencing... (you know the stuff, flat on 2 sides, round on the other 2 sides... used to make a fence by placing it in cinder blocks).

I think I have about five or six 8 foot sections, with maybe four or five 3 to 6 foot sections

Sorry I missed this one. Work got in the way!
Sounds alot like Donahue Creek (OSK's Field.)

Tough terrain is a reality.
...and wherever man encounters tough terrain he finds the easy way. Even if he has to build it.
I'm down for a work party or two! But leave it a bit raw please.

Yeah, chapp, very close to that, but it also has that real combat feel to it, going thru areas where people can be just feet away from you and they can't even see you. I actually felt like i was really training back in the army. No trails, no tour guide, just raw land to find you way around. Wish you were there, you would have loved it...Next time we will see yeah out there

my MC works like a figging charm out there...

i have two people say " i didnt even see you there!"

i bellycrawled to a flank position and got outflanked to my rear left. the guy was within 40'. instead of whipping my rifle around to draw down on him ( sure to have drawn attention to myself), i instead unsnapped and drew out the ol trusty MK23. i double tapped him twice on the chest.

over all a great field with a heap of potential, and a bleeding lame a$$ dariy queen too boot, i say we find a new eatery.

also when building take that into account and have a latrine and a eating area, not near one another...

just a suggestion.

KA-BAR out
I am not half as good as I want to be, but I am twice as good as you think I am.

yes the DQ sucked a$$. Ugly bitches (readmeth heads) and the manager/owner was a lazy sod. Right Fred?

Anyways, in the future there is no reason why we cant just BBQ there afterwards.
Maybe we can get some donations from the community to buy a BBQ that we can leave there. Since its private property its safe.

Once the horses are moved and that area is cleared out. We will have a big staging and parking area.

I figure by next summer we will have a nicely worked field.

Thanks for coming out, all! This was my last game, and I got to stand around, forget where my spawn point is, kill some fools, witness a pissing contest, and watch old dudes swoon over jailbait.

That's what it's all about.
