Bringing it back over the US border

I brought my Soc 16 over the Canadian border a little bit ago with no problems. I now want to bring it back to the US to sell it, buy a different gun, and play over the summer. What do I have to do to be able to bring it accross the border legally?

At least put on an orange tip, I would also recommend covering the trademarks.

Putting stuff under dirty laundry works :) , but I wouldn't want to get caught trying to hide that.

Orange tip and you gotta remove all the trademarks by either scraping them off or covering them with putty.
EDIT: I only know what they told me it would take to get replicas out of Japan.

I think you should get it varified before trying this, but I believe rubber cement would cover the trades and leave them unharmed afterwards.

try black caulking it sticks to stuff its rubbery its black and it CAN come off @ a later date

Also Do Not forget to declare it.
cause if they find it and you didnt declare it you might get in trouble.

Just say you have an airsoft replica in the car that you are bringing back home.

on another note where did you play?

You should just need the orange tip. Classic Army's trademarks are fully lisenced, so you should be able to bring them over. You might have a discussion at the border, but you're legal with just the orange tip.

yup orange tip. probably the trades too covered up. i used putty and that oj tip to get the stuff out of japan

Thanks guys. I'm going call them and do the orange tip with cover trademarks. Any suggestions for orange tip paint that is easily removable?

plug any holes in the flash hider and use the cheapest orange paint you can find, nail polish remover will take it off later.

put a thin layer of putty on the flash hider and paint it orange. then when you get home just scrap it off. i know this one frm experience in crossing borders with my rplicas
