OPERATION ENDEAVOR

“In the Balkans, tensions flared once again. Former warring factions clashed and gunfire erupted at demonstrations in the villages of Celic and Gajevi. US soldiers of the 1st Infantry Division intervened and quickly brought the situation under control. Two were reported dead and 12 wounded in the altercation.

This is the first time since the Dayton Accords were signed last year, that the cease fire has been broken.

It should be located within an hour's drive of Portland.
I just have to confirm a field.

No exceptions to the Age rule at this time.

We'd be interested but the 18+ thing leaves out almost half of our team.

Well, that is unfortunate.
Those of your team that are 18+ are welcome to attend.

Sounds interesting, but is there a cap in place based on the size of the field.
Example: 50 vs 50 or even 100 vs 100.

Quote:
"If KIA, you must return to your outpost and wait 15 minutes. There should be a clock at each outpost so everyone can keep time. Please be honest. You will need to receive a new hit packet from the aid station before reentering the game..

Other players may move the wounded. However, if they have an injury that disables them from walking, the player must be physically carried.

"If wounded and there are no medics or other soldiers to aid you, you may return to your outpost after 15 minutes. You will be considered KIA but you will only have to wait 10 minutes to return to the field
"

Just a quick notice to the KIA rule above, along with no medic or soldier to aid a soldier, will have them out of the action for a total of 25min's. This seems a too long of a wait to get back in the action. Otherwise, this seems like it could be fun with the right location. Keep us posted ;)

Wow, finally, this sounds like it could be really kick a$$, so long as everyone follows the hit rules. Only concerns I see is the potential for injury/damage to equipment while being carried. Also, are POW's required to have medical treatment if they are captured to stabilize them? If so, would this put an able bodied POW in a SERE situation where if they saw an opportunity to escape, they could take it? Would this include taking an enemy's weapon? These are the main hurdles that I have been looking to overcome in planning a high level milsim event.

I have no cap at this point. I don't really imagine to have a bunch of people attending due to the fact that it's milsim and has more strict rules than a normal op. There may not be a lot of trigger time in this.

I will probably change the times on the KIA, now looking back, that's a long time. I'll change it to 10.
I hope to encourage team work.
