I am not half as good as I want to be, but I am twice as good as you think I am.

Red tips on guns?

Postby Vulcan » Wed Apr 18, 2007 4:46 pm

I haven't read through every single message/post on the Mini-CQC, so this may have already been addressed.

As we will be doing this training in a residential area, should we all ensure that we have some type (tape, whatever) of red/orange marking on the ends of our guns?

Just a thought...

We will not be using the replicas outside in pure public view. It is good protocol to have a cap for transport.

Hey admins.

I need to be moved to sunday due to transportation issues. And, I was wondering... Anyone who is going to this event, Do any of you have a One Point sling I can borrow? I forgot to order it with my helmet and now it is too late.

Thanks

Just a suggestion, I think it's good for Airsoft Pacific to announce this event to the neighborhood around the event's place to avoid any unwanted attention.

Can we use smoke grenade in and outside the house during the assault?
I hope we can use some distraction devices, like flashbang/stun grenade.

How many times are we going to assault the house? Is it at the beginning or at the end? I'd like to know how the session is going to be.

Thanks

PS:
Bring:
Primary: VFC barett 50cal sniper rifle
.................................
It's CQB for God's sake!!! Bring appropriate loadouts! shorty.. shorty...

We've already taken care of the neighbors. We've already thought of all the angles. No worries there.

No, you can't use smoke, flash bangs, or any other loud objects. We're trying to keep a low profile here. Or as low a profile as one can keep while raiding a house in full kit.

A team might run through the house 4 or 5 times. The CQC class will be different. There will be time left strictly for instruction.

Multiple runs sounds awesome. I'd like to be able to learn from my mistakes instead of just, 'Oh, you're dead. Hope you don't do that six months from now at the next CQC comp.'

How much you learn is in direct proportion to how willing you are to deal with your mistakes sir.

Sorry for the last minute notice, but I'd like to switch to the individual sessions on Sunday as my presence is requested elsewhere on Saturday. I'm new to CQB, so will coming Sunday be a problem?
