Jolly is going to call you tonight and give you my phone # so we can talk.

Ever thought that two ops can co-exsist?

Scheduler overlaps are going to happen. Some people will go to OP:Total Immersion, and the rest of us will go to GSIII.

Anyhow, Helmutt, APST will be there in full force. The sooner we get a solid date, the more of us can get the time off approved. We're Totally stoked!

Two OPs can exist at the same time....

I think there was a StarTrek episode that covered this....

These are two really different OPs. Totally Immersed, and partially Immersed (sounds like the difference between baptists and methodists).

Seriously, people will have different abilities to travel, and commit to multiple days, etc. I wouldn't worry about it to much...the NW airsoft community is big enough for multiple Ops.

My 2 cents

Then do OP:TI at a different date, maybe? Control the aspects you have direct influence over.

CONOP:

Operation Gallant Saber III

June 23 - June 24 2007

SITUATION:

MUGAMBI,

Thousands of young men and boys, many of whom have committed atrocities while fighting in West Africa’s brutal civil wars, face re-recruitment into the region’s emerging conflicts. International efforts to disarm these fighters must provide them with alternatives to war. Mugambi and Guinea, two countries marked by growing political instability, are the current theaters into which these young fighters are being drawn.

Gallant Saber II was witness to Major VanHoosling's violent take over where he assumed the Presidency of Mugambi in a bloody coup . After driving the US Marines back into the sea with an intense insurgency operation, VanHoosling is believed to have sold the oil and mineral rights of the Peoples Republic of Mugambi to Total Fina Elf for $100,000,000,000. VanHoosling immediately bought a private island in the South Pacific and departed the country after distributing the fortune to his surviving men. He spends his time laughing and counting his money on his private, solid gold beach.

In the void that was created with his departure, impunity and impoverishment has fueled a pattern of extreme violence. Time and again, these fightersmost of whom began their military “careersâ€

Sorry Troy,

Trying to coordinate three different teams with 24 different schedules is difficult to say the least. Since we are working with so many people to make this happen, this is the ONLY weekend when more then 50% of people who are working on the event can make it.

We are expecting this to be in the 200-300 player range as it has a huge drawn from both inside and outside Washington and has a pretty big history in the region.

We had an AO for the May date but besides conflicting with Nial's game and being small it was not as great as this new location. Randle is 2 hours from Seattle, 2 hours from Portland and 2 hours from Yakima! I understand this doesn't work with your schedules but as I mentioned above, I am trying to cooridinate a large number of people and this was the only date that worked. Sorry man.

In any case, Mugambi calls! Who will answer?

I will answer the call again to defend my homeland of Mugambi! The rest of my brothers from the 1st Mugambi Commandos will no doubt be there as well.

Awesome Rick. Can't wait to see you all again, we've got all kinds of new stuff planned for this year
including several different roles, including Airborne. There will be a Ranger led airfield seizure to establish an Airhead in Mugambi. Players opting for an airborne role will be required to have a helmet, knee pads and a soft weapons case. Players will go through "jump" training on Saturday night and will be required to be up at 0400 as the airfield drop will be pre-dawn. Of course the Mugmabi commandos (MIG) will have their work cut out for them.

Pffft. Rangers. Airborne. It matters not to me; they die the same.
