try ejaculation. Tossing makes it sound like you've got a handful of the stuff, perhaps I shouldn't jump to conclusions... :D

Some things to remember:

The ammo limit is 200 rounds per player, per round. This includes pistol/sidearm rounds. This includes loose ammo kept on your person, in bottles, loaders, etc. You may NOT reload during gameplay (even in the respawn points). Shoot carefully. Like last time, I will hide speed loaders full of ammo to find and use.

The Project can be manipulated through arms fire. He might move away from you, he might move towards you, or he might roar and spray ammo in your direction, but he'll definitely do something if you shoot him :D

The Project can only be neutralized by three (3) direct shots to the chest (not arms, legs, or back). You will know you've made a direct hit because the "dart" will stick to the Project's chest. The tranquilizer gun is a pistol-like weapon with very limited range. Tranquilizer rounds that miss can be reused. Tranquilizer rounds must be shot from the tranquilizer weapon, and cannot be placed by hand.

Tranquilizing rounds may have interesting effects until after all three rounds have hit the appropriate target.

Scientists will wear a white labcoat/jumpsuit/t-shirt on top of all gear. Tac vests can be worn, but must be underneath the t-shirt. Since ammo is limited, it may be wise to load 200 rounds into a hi-cap and not worry with extra mags in vest pockets.

Perhaps you could borrow someone's AEG or something for the game. If you ask nicely (and cover anything you might break), I'm sure someone would rent you an AEG for $20 or so.

Since you're in a hurry, seems AONW has them in stock.

Try asking them about the instore price.

Called them this morning trying to get two set aside, but when he checked the stock they in fact had none, and no chance of getting them within the next week or so.
