Because I will do everything in my power to see that he never attends another NWAL event again.

That kid is a threat to himself and those around him.

however, by you giving your little ultimatum about doing everything in your power that he never attends another nwal event again, why should i give you more than his name? by giving you more than his name, what you just told me seems like you will become threat to him. i gave you his name. that is sufficent to ban him. that kid is my crewmen and ill take responsiblity for him and ill apologize on his behalf (which i did at the scene to Zeus himself), but for all i know, you could be one of those guys that will be on "To Catch A Predator" in a couple of months. i apologize for my brevity and sharp tongue, but i implore you understand what i am sayingon behalf of my squad

I have forwarded this quote onto the NWAL as well. You, as a commander of your unit, are demonstarting EXACTLY the type of behavior I saw apparent in Dominic and your unit and thus making a fine example of your leadership.

Good job in helping do the right thing.

I threaten him on the grounds that he is a sfety hazard. There is NO excuse for his actions on top of that hill. None.

AMAZING. I thought the game rocked. I'll never go to a major OP with anything other than a CA249 ever again :D. Awesome job, I had a ridiculously good time.

Sure there were flaws, but the good far outweighed the bad. One simple suggestion is that when the dead are waiting at a medic tent that they be required to sit or lay down. Many did not have death rags. Death rags should be more heavily enforced!

It wasn't me! Trust me, I was walking around asking everyone I could where to find you in my personal quest to take your tag. If it would have been me I would have taken your tag, told everyone alive, started a topic in big, bold, red letters, etc.

Jolly,

Thank you, in that your post was not a personal attack on anyone, and you you just stated your opinion.

I think there are two types of Airsoft "OPs". One, where you try to get as many people out on the field. These types are mostly action, not as complicated, and generally end up with huge firefights, while still trying to maintain a story, and using objectives. The downside of this, is that there will a lot of administrative overhead, and more people who have not been immersed in airsoft enough to know the importance of being honorable and fair.

The Second Type, is more like Enduring Horizon, or Belligerence. These are more unit based, Mil-Sims. There is a dedicated OPFOR, and each team is in a competition against each other. These games also take a lot of administration, to organize the different missions, but are much more conducive to serious teams, and can be honor checked easier.

This op was intended as the first type. I agree completely that more admins would have helped move this game smoother, and there would have been fewer incidences.

As for the field, it is the only one we have that suits these numbers. But I know we are always looking for new places to introduce different variables in to the games. It is not a MOUT facility, but for most of us, just having the space and a few towers and some bunkers makes a pretty good play field.

As for APST, yes, we helped with registration, and we helped with the Chrono. Zues is a member of our team, and we know he cant do everything, so we helped him. We have given members of the team up as Admins before. In fact, for the second half, we had one of our guys put on an orange vest and help admin. I don't think it is fair to call us out for wanting to be able to participate as players with a full team.

Perhaps there will be a call for additional admins from the community in the future, as we do for actors in the AP CQC events.

I am sorry that you feel this was a loss, I hope it doesn't change your opinion of the sport, our community, or even APs ability to host an event. It is very important to them that they provide an enjoyable experience for everyone, because in the long run, the whole goal of these ops is to promote the sport, and get more resources to be able to host the next one.

I'm sorry you feel that way, Jolly. I'm also sorry that you think ISAF won based solely on the fact that APST was among it's ranks, albeit only 10% of the total fighting force on our side.

It wasn't the lack of organization, aggression and leadership that lost you the day; it was because Zeus was the admin and is on APST. How could I be so blind?

I find it a little strange that all of EATF had their absolute WORST GAME EVAR! while tons of other people, on both sides, had their best game ever.

This is bothering me.

KA-BAR you're assault on guys wearing ACU makes my team look bad, ident the team at least to me. Because, here's the deal, we wear ACU, so if you're talking that much shit about guys in ACU, I have to assume that it was my guys. We strongly enforce safety on our team. We also enforce calling hits. I will take responsibility for those under my command, so if they were DuneCorps or under my command at the OP, I'm sorry. But to not identify them, that takes away your credibility. Which was lacking from the start. Also, we used our medics, and we had a lot of guys in ACU on hamburger, we were taking heavy casualties on top of the hill, but were able to keep the troops in action thanks to our Mobile Aid Station.

Also, your attitude is for lack of a better word, shit. Grow up and then respond, I don't want you to think that swearing at me is going to phase me. BTW, thanks for taking control of the Taliban side, and giving us a target, if your attitude changes I'm sure it'll be a pleasure to play with you in the future.

Also, to all of the guys on the ISAF and to the Taliban guys on the top of hamburger hill, I know you heard me, my mouth gets pretty foul, and I'm apologizing if I offended anyone.

Also, to all of the Taliban, if the ISAF guys on top of the hill weren't calling their hits, I apologize, I take full responsibility of that. Knuckles approached me with the complaint and we tried to take care of it in the middle of the game.

Thanks for swapping plastic with us. And unless we're no longer wanted, we'll be at the next OP.

PS, in the first round, DuneCorps and OSK cleared Kaeson in about 30 seconds. OSK, props for the assist.

Also, thanks for the OP Zeus, it was pretty well put together. Some complaints but all of my guys are still talking about it the OP, and we'll still be talking about it for weeks, I'm sure. The positive outweighs the negative.

DunePanther, I think you better read my post in this thread before you start becoming isolationist. ;)

As for KABAR's outburst, don't let it phase you. He's a man who reacts first and thinks second. He was upset at the way the op went and started talking before his brain told him to STFU. That doesn't make him a bad guy, just a jackass. :D

:) Chapped. Yep that was us. That was a sweet fire-fight, and having the medic laying 2 feet behind me was a nice accidental set-up. And, no I didn't mind the pop-off; at least you were checking on the hit and the outcome. I think a lot of the upset about hits would have been chilled out with a bit more yelling back and forth.

That little medic action was the most successful one I experinced all day. It actually worked!

That road was wild for a while.

BTW - I appreciated your sportsmanship, that's what makes the game fun. The two guys that we got above you, got hit and just wandered off?! By the end of the second round, everyone was starting to get cranky about hits.

Agreed. But who said through the grapevine that we claimed no attachment to admining the game? Helping things get organized is where the bulk of APST came in. APST troops helped chrono, park, direct traffic, answered questions from Parents, and even help fix many broken weapons- while AP oversaw registration, ect. More admins would have helped and should have been done; rgr that- but on the flip side, if we would have had 10 admins running around the field; there would have been bitching about the admin nazis. Some won, some lost, some hand fun, some didnt... cool... but lets learn from the weekend instead of pissing and moaning about it?

DuneCorps, from where I stood when Echo came up to help you on hamburger, you guys know how to roll under pressure, and we appreciated your contribution to the aggression and leadership.

I am sorry that you got stuck up there after the extract and didn't know to exit the field. That piece comes back to having more admins.

If there are problems on your team with hacking, get that squared away internally, if not, then its always a good reminder to be extra cognizant of that issue.

To all: Keep it fun, keep it fair.

Im pretty sure I was hit by a falling collection of water onto my boonie, but it was loud enough that it could have been a stray bb. Its just a game, when in doubt call yourself out.

We have no intention of becoming isolationists. We are going to continue going to events. And as for KA-BAR, he's too sheltered from his actions, you guys let him run his mouth far too often. I don't really have a problem with anyone, I just get my feelers hurt sometimes. Especially when I think that the attack is directed at my guys.

Anyways, guys you provided a helluva lot of fun for me and mine. We'll definately attend the next OP.

Taliban guys on top of hamburger hill, and to the ISAF on top of hamburger hill, sorry about my language. It gets out of hand when I go into that mode. If I offended please don't take it personally.

To the taliban guys on hamburger hill, sorry for my guys not calling their hits. I take responsibility for it, so direct your attacks at me. Knuckles approached me in the middle of round 1 to address the problem, and he and I tried to sort it out.

Great OP everyone!

PS. Dune Corps and elements of the OSK took down kaeson in ~30 seconds. Props to Neon and her guys.
