Yeah I've got to agree there. The whole thing is based on the honor system. Plus it's just a game for fun. If you've got that much of your ego wrapped up in winning you need ... I have no idea what you need but you're not going to find it on the airsoft field.

But personaly I didn't see much of it so I didn't let it get in the way of my own enjoymnet of the game.

The game was epic.
I must say thank you to the hundred + people i treated during my duration as the medic in the village, without you my job would have been very dull. Thank you Randal, i would have been very busy without you in the village with me. ISAF, awesome job gettin' it done! Tallies... I hope next time i'm fighting alongside quite a few of you! Thank you Admins, camera crew, and everyone that made this OP happen.
Good job every body!

C'mon John....
It was Kabar and our man was standing over him????
You wouldn't even have to visually I.D. him. You'd feel his nose tickling your bullocks.

I only saw Kabar once and it was the "game off" shazaam up and he came walking towards the village from the Russian Camp I think.

Dominic usually spars with us in our skirmishes and for this OP we considered him apart of our team. I wish to apologize for whatever misunderstanding or misfortunes my teammates might of cause in my abstance (I was not on Hamburger hill when you guys were defending it)

Any1 can say that a welt wasn't from a specific hit. I would agree with the shoot them again and again part though :beltfed:

Being a Moderator has nothing to do with banning people for cheating. Quit bitching about people not calling hits. Do what I do. Suppose Im shooting you- legs and torso- and you dont call 'hit'. Do I call you a faggot and show the world my a$$? I have- but lately I adjust and fire for effect... I shoot for heads, necks and faces. Then, I dont see people not calling hits. :) We had ingame admins, and that helped keep alot of people honest- lessons were learned, lets move on and get ready for the next one.

Well done, the neck shots are hard to deny when the target jumps up screaming when first shot

Hey Hotcurry!
Was this you?

You: dug in on the east side of the logging road facing north.
Me: flanked you about 10-20 meters up on the ridge west of your position and shot all three of you.
You: after about a minute of laying there dead you suddenly rolled prone and trained your rifle back at me.
Me: thought to myself, "wtf is that guy doing. You aren't pointing that thing at me are you? Oh hell no.
rat-tat-tat
You: shoot me
Me: Throw a tizzy about how I just killed your a$$ and you must be out of your bleeding mind thinking your gonna get away with this hack.
You: point out that there is a medic beside you under cover.
Me: "Sorry dude! It's cool."

That was good times. I hope you can understand my outburst.

Cheating is something that is going to happen at large games like this. Yes, it sucks but it's a fact. There are going to be some knuckleheads who won't want to call it because apparently being hit makes you less of a man. That's why we have people there to enforce it.

On the other hand, you get guys who either because they are chocked full of adrenaline or have a ton of gear on, don't feel and/or hear the hit. This is where your teammates come in handy. If you see a person near you get hit and not call it say, "hey man, didn't that hit you?" I saw it happen on the first assault on the village and the guy who was hit said, "was I? HIT!"

The vast majority of airsofters are good guys. Like any demographic, we have a few bad apples.

Because I will do everything in my power to see that he never attends another NWAL event again.

That kid is a threat to himself and those around him.
Please buy your gear from Rick Fisher; perhaps he can buy a Life.

To ALCON:

As most of you know, I don't post very much. I stay back in the shadows and let all the hot heads yell, scream, insult, and maime each other. Sometimes though, you have to come forward and state your peace.

After this is finished, some of you may agree with me, some of you may want to start a flame war... whatever. I don't get on much to read posts any more....so I probably won't even see it. I don't have time for it. I do this for real and have a unit to push out to Iraq from now until the end of next month.

The event yesterday was by far my worst experience ever in Airsoft, bar none. The field, again, is not condusive for Airsoft. The "buildings" are shoddy, falling down and hastily setup. There were very few Admins on the field. Zeus did his best to keep running around and track down the ones that basically ruined it for myself and everyone I know.

I'm very dissapointed that I actually paid for this event. It was so poorly executed, that I left shortly after the start of the 2nd half. I, like many others, traveled quite a distance for this event. I even took 5 days of leave to ensure that I'd have the weekend off for it. So, after spending $130.00 in gas, $35.00 for my entry and traveling more than 160 miles both ways, I must say that I will never attend another event at Splat Action.

The quality of play that I've come to know and love, just isn't honored at that field. There was blatent cheating (on both sides), no organization, not enough Admin for the amount of players and the whole event was just a mirror of Grid 18, Siprot Ridge and all the other events that have been held there.

APST, I think you should step up and take a good hard look at the events you sponser/put on. Don't say you have no affiliation with the event as I've already heard through the grapevine, because you're not only posted this on the APST sponsored events forum, but you were also helping out with the crono and selling tickets etc.

That's about all I have to say. Say whatever you want... turn it into a flame war... I really don't care too much. Just remember one thing.... I got into this sport and out of paintball because of one thing...

The quality of the players on the field. I got tired of all the griping, whiping, cheating and everything else.

Please don't let this sport fall the way of Paintball.

however, by you giving your little ultimatum about doing everything in your power that he never attends another nwal event again, why should i give you more than his name? by giving you more than his name, what you just told me seems like you will become threat to him. i gave you his name. that is sufficent to ban him. that kid is my crewmen and ill take responsiblity for him and ill apologize on his behalf (which i did at the scene to Zeus himself), but for all i know, you could be one of those guys that will be on "To Catch A Predator" in a couple of months. i apologize for my brevity and sharp tongue, but i implore you understand what i am sayingon behalf of my squad
