I've been playing for longer than most on this forum(of course not lately).
People not taking hits or generally cluster bleeding up the aim of the scenarios(I used to try and run mil-sim style games open to everyone). It's the same today as it's always been. It always will be. There will always be new players. There will always be cheaters.
Personaly, until I see someone try and run an milsim op even w/ 40(if we were lucky, that's the most we used to get)people and see if you have any other problem.

Every op I hear the same shit from whoever didn't win. That's how it is w/ any game.
Get over it, move on.
No one was appointed to teams. Everyone chose what team they wanted.

It's always going to be woodland vs everything else.

As you said IT'S A bleeding GAME. So get over it.

Second... You say you can only speak for yourself, no one else on your team, then why group all of ISAF because of a group that you had experience w/.
Like Thompson, I never saw you on the field the whole time. Personally, the groups that were around me were often dead but our medics were quite good at their jobs. From what i saw, the taliban medics sucked and most of the time their dead were overrun before they could get to a medic. Often I just noticed that they were more concerned w/ shooting at us than trying to haul their dead to their medics(which often 2 people from each squad were doing this on the ISAF side).

The sides were very lopsided. I agree. But that is for no one to blame.
Next time work on recruiting more experienced players for your side.

It saddens me to see cheaters out there deteriating the game for me, and everyone else out there trying to play a fair game of Airsoft.

I would like to thank the people who helped me, in the first scenario, to establish our forward medic post by the south-east corner of 'The Village'. Thank you to the medics who worked in teams to heal the wounded and dead. Thank you to the other people who were dragging the dead to medic stations that were barely covered from incoming fire. Your co-ordination, and dedication to duty are a credit to you, and your respective teams. I expect y'all to work twice as hard at the next event.

I noticed this also. The ISAF were very good at using their medics.

The Taliban wasn't. I was hit up on Hamburger Hill and yelled medic for 5 minutes. There was one only 10 feet away. He healed his buddies but left me hanging there. The only satisfaction I got was that he got hit just before I finished my death time.

The ISAF medic tent up on Hamburger Hill was an excellant strategy! Well done!

The Taliban had a few problems. Some would die, wait, go to the respawn point and wait another 5 minutes before heading back. They spend a lot of time gabbing at the respawn point.

Both sides had a problem with death time. I used the stop watch feature on my watch. I would wait 5 minutes. I saw others wait a minute or two, but rarely all five.

Another Taliban problem was once we had a group of people at the respawn point ready to go back in, we really didn't have a good idea of where to attack and no leaders directing our actions.

At the beginning of round two up at Rebel Camp Jolly placed us well for a frontal attack. Unfortunately the attack came from our rear. I do not fault Jolly because he saw the attack as it was developing and pointed out the ISAF. I fault the Taliban teams for not responding correctly. I think a team wide training session would of helped. We were fighting as untrained individuals. The ISAG fought as a team.

I am going to speak for my whole team, some of them do not hit AP often.

We had a record showing of 25 members and recruits. Each and every one had complaints of Hacking, Railing and bending of the rules, but each complaint was followed by "I am having s F'in GREAT time!"

Lesson Learned: Never have your extraction poing 25m from the Bad Guy's respawn.

hacking= definition one ( hack job) you know what this is, this is a job done in a half assed non motivated manner. definition 2. ( a hack ) somone who always does a hack job, has very little integrity, self motivation, and is in general worse then a asshat.

Well this Being my first OP... it f***ing rocked! I will for sure come to more.

With that said i have a few personal gripes.
1. my first op, this one, i bought a HFC m190 all metal and lost it, i also lost a gray motorolla talkabout radio that belongs to Wolfdog. If anyone finds either of these there will be a reward for returning them to me!
2. I and no one i talked to at the op knew where any of the COs went at either Round
3. Fog sucks a$$, especially when its in my goggles!

5. f***ing ACU wearing tit fuckers not calling their hits.

7. the battery that comes with the JG SCAR, BTW thanks for all the compliments about my gun it felt good, the battery sucks balls

I really cant stress how much my goggles fogging up kill the game for me!

Over all seeing the planning that went into it this op was very good but can be made better...Zeus thanks for what you did i look forward for more times of my a$$ getting shot while I'm dead.

Well after reading all the posts on the OP I just have a couple of comments/questions.

First... KA-BAR.. LOL dude take some medicine. You go completly off the handle at times. Take the ordeal with commiehunter.. you were ready to string him up without knowing the details. Then Zeus, although I know you respect him, here is a comment you made

and i am not responsible for the asshat booger eating mouth breathers that were on the taliban side, my actions on the field speak for one person and that is ME!

Now if your not taking responsibility for asshats under your command then how can you expect the organizers of this event to take responsibility. Doesn't seem too fair.

Our Warlords meeting was probably a little pre-mature. The field guide had not been published yet. While I appriciate everything you did, getting food, and cooking, I drove over an hour to the meeting, for what? We talked a little about the game, but watched the Military channel most of the time. Really not a big deal, but when you state that only 6 of 7 showed up...well.

Does it matter if the ISAF team was stacked? The Taliban were defending for the most part. It's far eaiser to defend than to attack, especially if the enemy is "dug" in. No big deal, just learn some lessons about commanding and it will make you better. Let's leave it all in context; This is a game, no blood, no body parts laying all over the battlefield, and no one dying. Remember the commanders who had to make tough decisions that resulted in people actually dying and what they have to go through everyday thinking about it.

Now for the organizers of the event. I am an uninformed consumer and I really can't find the answers to this. With a $35.00 entrance fee lets say X 380 people = $13,300. I'm not sure how much is spent on renting the field and other expenses. My question is where does the additional money go? Do you have an APL/NWAL account? Does it all go into APST? I just don't know.

As a coach for a girls softball organization, I know that we have bi-laws and if as an organization we hold a fundraiser, then the money gets distrubited between the teams evenly.

And while I agree that any budget type concerns shouldn't be posted publicly, and team leaders probably know this. I do think that some sort of Bi-laws for APL/NWAL should be. that way we all know 1 what it takes to become a member in APL/NWAL, and 2 what the deal is for additional monies made on an OP.

Top, Airsoft Pacific is a private company. NWAL doesn't hold any stake in it, our promotions and events are run solely by ourselves... Much like Operation Lion Claws is or BattleSim. NWAL is an entirely separate entity, and they aren't even chartered to run events. They exist for safety, rules and disciplinary actions for those who break them. Many teams or existing organizations who do run events are part of the NWAL, and we support and uphold their rulings.
